Harding: This is Bill Harding and Carolina Thrupp. We're here interviewing SCP XXXX for foundation recruitment -

O'Keen: Recruitment? God, what's that mean?

Harding: … for foundation recruitment according to the Humanoid Usability Initiative. So, SCP XXXX -

Thrupp: You read the guidelines, Bill.

Harding: … Ms. O'Keen, as I'm sure you are aware, your containment within our facility is… its indefinite, owing to the anomylus effect you have on the environment around you.

O'Keen: I still don't understand what you mean by that! I'm not like the other things you have locked up in here! I'm normal.

Harding: You're not, Ms. O'keen. I'm sorry but I'm unable to elaborate any further.

Thrupp: It's for your own safety.

Harding: I'm sure you'll be glad to hear that's not the reason why we've scheduled this interview.

O'Keen: Glad? Ha.

Harding: Ms. O'Keen, according to our Asset Index Rating, you're way above baseline. It's our firm belief that your skills and experience could be of massive benefit to our operations.

Thrupp: We'd like to offer you a role here at the foundation.

Silence for roughly thirty seconds

O'Keen: So… So I'm detained here, against my will, indefinitely.

Thrupp: For your own safety.

O'Keen: No contact to the outside world? I won't ever be able to see my friends again… and my cats, home alone?

Harding: Ms. O'Keen, the outline of your containment has already been stipulated -

O'Keen: And you want to hire me?

Thrupp: With benefits!

O'Keen: Go fuck yourself!
