Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5188 is to be kept in a 30 centimeter by 30 centimeter titanium box. the box will be placed in the center of a room. The room should have motion detectors. It is still unknown if SCP-5188 can become what it wants at will. SCP-5188 is kept in site (Data EXPUNGED).
Any contact with SCP-5188 is strictly prohibited, as well as any information regarding the existence of SCP-5188.
Description: SCP-5188 is an object that becomes anything the user wants when it comes in contact with human skin. When SCP-5188 is touched it changes into what ever the user thinks of first. If user comes in contact with SCP-5188 and does not know of its properties, SCP-5188 will diaper in a random location in the world. SCP-5188 can not be more then 10 meters in volume and no less then one sixteenth of a meter in volume. If a user tries think of a object that is less then 1 sixteenth of a meter in volume of more then 10 meters in volume the user will be transported to a random location in the world.
The more a person uses SCP-5188 the greater the desire to use SCP-5188 will become, also the greater their emotional distress becomes. Subjects have reported the object changing into things not of what they wanted it to turn into, but things they wish they never would have to face again. Objects that represents things that they have done in the past. A D-Class personal (Data EXPUNGED) die to seeing a bloody knife, witch was the murder weapon he used to kill his wife. SCP-5188 seems to be punishing people for their mistakes through objects. After seeing these objects subjects become depressed, but not making the need to use SCP-5188 disappear, meaning they will be forced to use it, turning it into objects that harm them emotionally, Until the point of death. Any attempts to terminate SCP-5188 fails. It will seem to be terminated but will just appear in a different spot in the world. There is no predicting the location SCP-5188 will appear once it has disappeared, except that it will never appear in any body of water.
If SCP-5188 does not come contact with anybody with in the last 24 hours it was used, it will become a 20 centimeter by 20 centimeter cube made of a unknown solid substance. This seems to be its original form before taking shape of the user's wishes. SCP-5188 can not change the materiel it was made. SCP-5188 can not become a living thing, or anything that moves on it's own. The object the user wishes it to be will stay the same substance as it's original form. SCP-5188 can not be broken into more then one object. For example if someone wishes SCP-5188 to be Lego's, it will not break apart. SCP-5188 can change colors to the user will. It's color when it is in it's original form is a dark grey.
SCP-5188 can be touched by a human as long as the user is wearing something such as gloves. There is no known cure to the need to use SCP-5188 other then erasing ones memory of the object. Any attempts to terminate SCP-5188 fails. It's unknown how many people know of the existence of SCP-5188 and its properties.
