Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5256 is to be driven by an agent of the Foundation once a month to avoid a containment breach. The Foundation agent selected must be specialize in stealth and infiltration tactics, and must agree to an implant of a radioactive tracer before taking part of Procedure 112 Wells. After Procedure 112 Wells, SCP-5256 is to be place in storage at the Anomalous Garage at Site ███, with the affected agent going through a psychology panel before being allowed back in the field.

If Procedure 112 Wells fails, or if the SCP breaks containment, efforts to locate the item will be directed towards list 5256-A for potential targets being contacted by the item in question. After location of SCP-5256 after being re-contain the affected individual are to be given class B-Amnestics and release back to the public.

Description: SCP-5256 is a Rocket powered sled measuring with a length of 33' long, width of 8.5' wide, and a height of 14' at the topmost wing. With two main rockets in the center back with two secondary rockets adjacent to the main. The Sled being built out carve wood, leather hide, and heated glass. With the engine being powered by an unknown source. Along with the ability to launch a Ballista size arrow by unknown means of propulsion.

The driving mechanism of the of sled consist of a single lever with a t cross steering wheel. If SCP-5256 is driven by anyone, after the initial ride will turn invisible. This is includes invisibility in Thermography, X-ray, and electromagnetic spectrum. This effect will wear off after 1 year after the initial day the person drove SCP-5256.

SCP-5256 first came to the foundation attention in 1939 after several radars in the eastern United States coastline reported seeing two parallel lines going over their stations, followed by the reports of a missing girl in the local area. After initial investigation by Foundation agents, it was discovered that all missing girls share similar commonality. They were raised in an abusive family, and they all had some scars in some forms or another from the abuse on their faces. Moreover the residence in the area where the missing girl live made no attempts to help her, while continuously mock and bullied her.

With this information the Foundation created what will later be known as list 5256-A and kept all the individuals under observation until SCP-5256 was found and contained. After containment it was found that all traces of the missing girls vanish after they rode SCP-5256.
