Special Containment: An exclusion zone of 10 kilometers around SCP-XXXX is to be maintained at all times. Any civilian or any other unauthorized personnel that enter the exclusion zone must be escorted from outside the zone, to Sector C where the subject is to be quarantined. If the subject shows symptoms found on list a, the subject must be terminated to prevent the spread of SCP-XXXX.
It is imperative that no person is to enter the 10-kilometer exclusion zone. If any sensor or alarm is tripped, please report it to your shift officer. Failure to do so may cost the lives of Foundation personnel or civilians. Remember Do Not enter the exclusion zone to retrieve any civilian or unauthorized personnel from the exclusion zone. Wait until they return and escort them with PROPER safety equipment (See LIST B).
If any Foundation personnel in the site experience signs of contamination proceed with steps for termination as seen above if they have been inside the exclusion zone. However if they show signs of contamination, and they have NOT entered the exclusion zone, isolate the Subject and activate protocol Zed as there may be a containment breach.
Protocol Zed:
In the event of a containment breach, expand the exclusion zone to 15 Kilometers and enact a shelter in place for 24 hours. All personnel found within this 15-kilometer exclusion zone must shelter in place. Personnel outside the exclusion zone will monitor the situation and security will ensure that no one enters or leaves the zone.
If you are in the 15 km exclusion zone during a declared containment breach, shelter in place. During this time, isolate yourself from fellow Foundation personnel and remain where you are until you receive an All Clear Notice. If no All Clear Notice is received after 24 hours wait for alternative instruction.

List A: Possible symptoms of exposure to SCP-XXXX

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Sore throat

  • Headache
  • Shortness of breath

List B: Approved safety equipment for handling contaminated subjects

  • Level A hazmat suit

Description: SCP-XXXX is the crash site of a C-5M Super Galaxy that went down on February ███ 198█. The cargo of SCP-XXXX is unknown as researchers who surveyed the site returned with massive head trauma that spread in Site ██████ within a matter of hours. No one from Site ██████ survived. Cleanup of Site ██████ has been completed and the site is fully operational
According to initial interviews with a research team that returned from the crash site, many had felt sick with complaints of pain behind their eyes. The amount of pain can be compared to that of a mild migraine. However, only 30 minutes later, 6 of the 8 surveyors of the expeditionary group experienced severe cerebral hemorrhaging and succumbed to their injuries. Due to the lack of pain the researchers initially had, they were not observed at their time of death.
The remaining two surveyors were immediately labeled Subject #001 and Subject #002. The deceased Surveyors are labeled Subject: A-F. It is believed that Subject’s #001 and #002 exposure to SCP-XXXXX was minimal compared to the other surveyors. However, Before any information could be gathered, Subject #002 died due to cerebral hemorrhaging.

It is believed that after any exposure (direct or indirect) to SCP-XXXXX will initially cause flu-like symptoms (See LIST A) and a possible decrease in brain function. Depending on the amount of exposure, the Subject may go up to 5 hours before experiencing any symptoms. Once symptoms occur, the Subject’s health begins to deteriorate rapidly resulting in Cerebral hemorrhaging. Damage to the amygdala may also occur which can result in the subject forgetting where they are. After the first reported symptoms occur, the subject is estimated to have no more than 3 hours left to live.
Any person that comes within a 1 meter (3 Feet) radius of the carrier has an estimated 96% chance of becoming contaminated (See experiment: ██████). The origin and composition of SCP-XXXXX are unknown as it leaves no trace within a Subject's body.

Dr. John ████: Please state your name, Date of Birth, and security clearance
Subject: ** #003 My name is Dr. Almer ████, I was born on June 5th, 1950. I hold a level 4 security clearance.
Dr. John ████: Please tell me about the symptoms that you have experienced since your exposure to subject #001 just 2 hours ago.
Subject: #003 After he collapsed and was pronounced dead, I vacated the room to allow for the removal of his body. After about 20 minutes, …. Sorry my memory is a little hazy.
Dr. John ████: That's alright, take your time.
Subject: #003 I remember just feeling discomfort. I can't remember what was bothering but I do remember it getting progressively worse. After about 45 minutes or so, I began to cough and eventually, I began to feel cold… hell, I noticed my body was shivering, much like it is now. What happens after that is a blur. All I know is you showed up here with this audio equipment.
Dr. John ████: At any point, did you come into contact with SCP-XXXX?
Subject: #003 No, I have not.
Dr. John ████: At any point did you come into contact with someone who has?
Subject: #003 Yes. As I said before, I began to feel symptoms after I terminated the interview with Subject #001.
Dr. John ████: Do you know how much time passed between Subject #001s exposure to SCP-XXXX and your interview?
Subject #003 I believe it was 3 hours when I entered the MASH unit. The rest of Subject #001’s research team was already deceased, however, they had more exposure than Subject #001. I’m sorry, do I know you? What wait who, who, who are you?
Dr. John ████: I'm Dr. John ████, I told you earlier, is everything alright?……
Subject: ** #003 I…. I….. want…. Want…. I want… I wa…
