Special Containment Procedures: This specific being will have to be placed under security Level-3 as it does not pose an immediate threat. Be cautious when around it's containment unit as it will send signals directly to the brain, causing blurry vision and nausea. The device must not be around any humanoid as to avoid it's unnatural lure. Confirmed name of this being is currently unknown, but it is referred to as SCP-5073.

Description: SCP-5073 is permanently in the form of a Virtual Reality Headset. A common description of SCP-5073 is a black headset with velcro straps on both sides and on top. Before capture, it preyed on the life force of unwary consumers as they purchased the being. Most consumers were young males or females interested in games that immerse the player. SCP-5073 used it's appearance to trick these consumers into wearing it. It then shot a beam of light through the "lenses" directly into the eyes. This would result in shocked friends, family, and authorities viewing the corpse of the consumer with the remains of their brain and eyes seeping out the sockets. SCP-5073 can be found back wherever wherever it was sold, although it is unknown how. The store is currently under control of the Governments Supernatural Branch. Unfortunately, to keep SCP-5073 from getting out of control from starvation, monthly donors are let inside the store to satisfy the being. Any attempt to access SCP-5073 in attempt to save these donors will be punished by termination. No exceptions are allowed.
