Cabohhh 2

Item #: SCP-X

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-X is to be contained in a soundproof box measuring 10 metres by 10 metres by 10 metres. The air is to be purified every 3 days. 2 guards with Level 2 Security Clearance are to be guarding the entrance of SCP-X's room. Guards are to be armed with tranquilizers. Any person who is affected by SCP-X is to have a Class B amnestic administered. SCP-X-1 to SCP-X-7 are to be contained in one separate airtight wooden box lined with silk and cotton. Large vacuums are to be installed in the walls of the room containing SCP-X.

In case of a containment breach, personnel are to seal all entrances to SCP-X's containment chamber and activate all vacuum pumps within the chamber. This procedure is in place to prevent transmission of any sound waves by SCP-X.

Description: SCP-X is a wood-and-brass gramophone from the 1930's. The base measures 30cm by 30cm by 10cm. SCP-X was discovered after a garden party collapsed in ████████, USA. All affected individuals claimed that they saw a man of varying appearance while they were unconscious. All affected individuals were given a Class A amnestic. The memory is dependent on the record being played. When a record is played, all humans that can hear will become catatonic until the record is paused or until the record ends.

The owner claimed that it was a family heirloom that hadn't been in use. The owner was given a Class A amnestic and false memories were implanted. SCP-X came with 7 vinyl records, each with a handwritten label with the name of an orchestral piece written on the bottom.

SCP-X-1 is a record of J.S. Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in G Major. The label is written in artisanal blue ink available in the 1930's. See experiment log for details.

All experiments are to be witnessed by Dr. Mendoza. All experiments are to be listed in chronological order.

Addendum X-A: Dr. Mendoza has allowed a recording of SCP-X-3 to be released. Please proceed with caution.

Note: The record is in surprisingly good quality, considering it is from the 1930's.1
