Special Containment Procedures- SCP-XXX is to be contained a 5x5 cm titanium cube 30 meters below the surface of site-14. The elevator shaft leading to SCP-XXX's containment chamber must be inoperable at all times to prevent any hostile groups of interest or unauthorized personnel from accessing SCP-XXX. There should be no less than four armed security staff guarding SCP-XXX at all times working in shifts of two at twelve hour shifts.
In the event of a containment breach the elevator shaft will engage emergency protocol 17 filling the elevator shaft with concrete. If this attempt fails and SCP-XXX escapes the perimeter, the on site Omega warheads shall be detonated.
Description-SCP-XXX is a macroscopic cephalopod like entity of unknown origin with 25 appendages serving as legs, SCP-XXX also possesses the ability to fly through wing like appendages on SCP-XXX’s abdomen. SCP-XXX is a deep shade of red with yellow stripes. SCP-XXX was discovered in (REDACTED), Idaho by a rural farmer, SCP-XXX was found in a corn field emitting a cricket like call at the tone of 150 decibels. Any organism in a 200 meter radius was rendered unconscious, SCP-XXX was brought to the foundation's attention when a aggravated neighbor called local authorities on charges of a noise complaint, the foundation intervened when three state deputies were found unconscious.
SCP-XXX possesses the ability to emit frequencies of up to, but not limited to 1000 decibels, 200 decibels is the limit a human can endure before death. Testing has shown that SCP-XXX is invulnerable to all modern elimination methods, see addendum XXX-1A.

Item-Hydraulic press
Test log: SCP-XXX is encased in a 5 cm thick glass cube in a sound proof room under a H-based hydraulic press running at approximately 20,000 psi. The press was remotely started from a secure position, when the cylinder made contact with the glass cube holding SCP-XXX the glass cracked and shattered. When the cylinder made contact with the base of the press two D-class personnel were sent in the sound proof chamber to confirm SCP-XXX was terminated. When the D-class approached the hydraulic press SCP-XXX emitted a call of 253 decibels, both D-Class personnel were killed.

Item- Liquid Helium
Test log: SCP-XXX was placed into a vat of liquid helium at -280 degrees Celsius in a sound proof containment chamber. After two minutes SCP-XXX emitted a call of 537 decibels shattering the sound proof glass encasing the chamber.
Footnote: From now on all testing on SCP-XXX shall be done in a containment chamber with 7 cm thick sound proof glass, 200 meters away from any personnel above class-D clearance.

Item-Thermonuclear warhead
Test log: SCP-XXX was placed into a 3x3x3 cm titanium cube in the middle of the (REDACTED) desert in (REDACTED), Mongolia. 14 hours later the warhead was detonated MTF-Eta 16 (AKA, Nuclear Nihilists) was dispatched into the epicenter of the explosion wearing class-A hazmat suits to locate SCP-XXX. MTF-Eta 16 nor the thermal imaging cameras were able to locate SCP-XXX, three weeks later SCP-XXX was found in a metropolitan area, 966 kilometers away from the blast zone when several hundred people were rendered unconscious by SCP-XXX and the local government contacted the foundation.
