Item #: SCP-4723

Object Class: Euclid

Special containment procedures: SCP-4723 is to be contained in a standard containment cell. Testing is limited to D-Class personnel only without explicit permission from the site director. All testing is to be supervised by at least one senior researcher familiar with these containment protocols. There should be placed in the containment cell at all times 4 security officers each equipped with a SCAR Mk.17.

Description: SCP-4723 is a Westinghouse refrigerator of unusually large dimensions. These dimensions measure 55.9cm deep, 91.4cm wide, and 2.44m tall. The main anomaly, however, is observed when someone opens the refrigerator. Upon opening the refrigerator, they will observe a room which is a perfect cube and of which has a volume equivalent to that of a sphere with a radius of e to the power of the golden ratio meters, and of which the floor is covered by a layer of snow which will range from 3-15cm depending on factors which are currently unknown to the foundation. All surfaces in this room will also have a light intensity of 313lx, regardless of any light sources, of which there are none present in the room until introduced. This room will contain a door centered on each wall, one of which includes the refrigerator door. This room is part of, what is theorized to be, an infinite space. This space is part of a separate dimension and radio contact is only possible when the door is open.

Beyond each of the three doors contained within the initial room, are rooms identical in everything except for what is inside of the room with things such as furnishings, utilities, and even entities appearing inside of the various rooms. In each corner of each room is a coordinate pair, the initial room containing the coordinate pairs (0,0),(0,1),(1,0), and (1,1). The room to the left contains the coordinate pairs (0,0),(0,1),(-1,1), and (-1,0). The pattern continues as a normal coordinate grid would. In addition, there seems to be a 15cm thick line in which there is no snow on the ground. This line seems to be the exponential function as is revealed by measurements and the coordinates. Attempting to shovel snow onto this light leads to the snow instantly vaporizing, although seemingly without temperature change. The floor beneath the snow, at least where the line is, is simply a hardwood floor, although the type of wood is unknown, it features a dark, almost green color. Attempting to reveal the floor at any other location by shoveling snow simply leads to the snow being replaced instantaneously as it is removed.
