Item #: SCP-XXXX : Daughter of the Sun
Object Class: Euclid class
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX requires daily doses of anti-psychotics to prevent episodes which have resulted in self harm and grave injury to staff. The creature is highly intelligent and has been known to persuade even the most devote staff to release it. To prevent it from further escape attempts, it must be kept in a soundproof cell and knocked out via gas in the ventilation system prior to entering for any reason.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid female standing at 2 meters. It was discovered in the amazon rainforest after reports of an ancient structure had emerged. It was unconscious upon initial encounter, but upon 10 containment agents entering its domicile it awoke and attacked the agents. Several agents were gravely injured during the initial contact. The remaining agents were able to subdue the creature using high dose knockout rounds. Once the creature was contained it was immediately brought to the Foundation for study. During transit the creature awoke from its unconscious state several times, each time it damaged the vehicle. Transit agents noted that the creature spoke a language they could not identify.
Secondary research teams were dispatched to the location where the creature was discovered for further research. Upon delivery of SCP-XXXX to the Foundation, several agents had to empty their reserves of knockout rounds before the creature again slipped into unconsciousness.
Several days later, the secondary research teams reported on their findings. The structure SCP-XXXX was discovered in was a monument. Apparently the ancient inhabitants revered it as their god and would regularly entertain it in whatever means it saw fit. Research teams were unable to decipher its name from the wall carvings from which they acquired a majority of the information. Upon this revelation, it was decided that interrogation was the best course as to ascertain what exactly it believed it was and how it came to be revered as a god. Measures were taken to ensure the creature did not harm any staff in the transitions between cell and interrogation rooms, including but not limited to a straight jacket, chair restraints, muscle relaxants, etc.
Several dead languages from the surrounding regions were utilized in the attempts at communication, but ultimately the creature initiated conversation. It had somehow assimilated English perfectly in the time that it had been held.
