Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX containment at a Site is currently impossible. To reduce manifestation events of SCP-XXXX-1 in urban areas, potential targets should be moved to the closest encampment in the rural areas outside any metropolitan city and their disappearance disguised as a move out of the country or a suicide. If any personal find themselves followed by a manifestation of SCP-XXXX-1 they are to be considered lost. As it seems SCP-XXXX-1 tend to target the homeless and individuals who live alone the use of amnestics has not been needed.
The capture of SCP-XXXX-1 has also been proven impossible even when taken outside of SCP-XXXX as it would eventually disappear on its own. Thermal imaging have shown that this is due to the appearance of XXXX-2.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a spatial anomaly covering [REDACTED] kilometers of Japan. The spatial anomaly is invisible and intangible to regular human perception. Once every week instances of SCP-XXXX-1 manifest in populated areas where the spatial anomaly covers. SCP-3XXX-1 instances resemble small children dressed in a [REDACTED] century kimono though they tend to manifest in more modern clothes when manifesting in cities. Instances of XXXX-1 have an anomalous effect of provoking sympathetic responses in individuals that they target. When an instance finds a suitable victim it leads them into the nearest location where there can be no possible observers which then the victim and the instance disappear within the spatial anomaly. Right before disappearing high speed cameras have detected the appearance of an additional entity, hereby named XXXX-2. It is impossible to be able to view XXXX-2 directly as it seems to have the ability to render itself imperceptible to any observer. However thermal imaging has shown the shape of what appears to be a [REDACTED].

Addendum: Since SCP-XXXX’s discovery, instances of XXXX-1 at times have appeared in the containment areas of several sentient or sapient SCPs, the SCP does not seem to be aware of the instances appearance. Shortly after the instances appearance the site experiences a containment breach due to a seemingly unrelated cause. However before the contained SCP can escape it disappears along with the XXXX-1 instance. The SCPs targeted tend to be ones that after capture, the Foundation either needed to administer amnestics or manipulated media to hide their existence. Object reclassification to Keter pending.
