Any subject found out to be playing SCP-xxxx must be captured and given the same amnestics. Should SCP-xxxx-1 become aggressive and breach containment, it must be immediately recontained, and force may be used if necessary.
Description: SCP-xxxx is a packaged disc located in a games shop in Lisbon, Portugal. The disc case has the abnormal property where, should it be taken out or destroyed, it'll always materialize itself in the same place when no one is looking. The way this happens is currently unknown.
Once SCP-xxxx is placed inside a computer's disc tray, the computer will detect the disc, as normal. There's only 1 file labeled inside the disc, named "setup.exe". Once you run said file, what appears to be a RPG named "Lively Universe" will start installing. It finishes installing in exactly 6 minutes and 6 seconds, independent of the drive or computer's speed.
Once the game is finished installing, a shortcut will appear in the desktop. The game can always be uninstalled at any time. Once the subject starts up the game, they'll be greeted by a title screen, with the name "Lively Universe", and a prompt to start the game by pressing Enter. Once they press Enter, they'll be in the character creation screen, with a choice between 3 races: Human, Orc, and Goblin, with their looks corresponding to their names, and 3 classes: Warrior, Assassin, and Mage. The character creation screen allows you to edit almost any details of your character, including their clothes and looks.
Once the player finishes their character and starts playing, they will be put into the main story. The game will look like a standard RPG, where you play a story, kill enemies, and try to get the best loot available to you, with the graphics appearing extremely realistic. The world the game takes place in appears to be an ancient fictional world, which doesn't correspond to any known place in the universe. This is where the anomalous properties of SCP-xxxx start to show.
The subject playing SCP-xxxx will start really enjoying the game. They appear to feel content, and rather satisfied with the game. A few minutes into the game, the subject playing the game will become addicted to it, and will not stop playing the game, not even for a bathroom break, or if they're hungry or thirsty.
Should the subject playing SCP-xxxx be forced to stop playing, they'll become aggressive, even attempting to attack those trying to stop them from playing. If they're successfully stopped from playing the game and captured, the subject will become insane, scratching the walls and even harming themselves. If they're given amnestics, they'll completely forget about the game, and wonder what happened. This is why it's recommended to use amnestics on any unauthorized personnel found to be playing SCP-xxxx. The anomalous effects do not occur on anyone watching the subject play the game.
Once the subject playing SCP-xxxx finishes the story, the credits will start playing. The names in the credits appear to not correspond to anyone in the games industry.
After the credits end, the game will close, with the disc as well as any files within the computer disappearing. The subject that has finished the story will suddenly suffer from a heart attack, dying almost instantly. The case of the heart attack appears to be unknown. After said heart attack happen, SCP-xxxx-1 will materialize on where their body is. SCP-xxxx-1 is the character of the subject that has played SCP-xxxx, brought back to life. SCP-xxxx-1 is not aggressive at all unless attacked, but cannot be returned to society due to their odd looks and not knowing about the real world. SCP xxxx-1 must be captured and questioned. Research of SCP-xxxx-1's DNA appears to correspond to a human's DNA if the player's character is a human, but the DNA will not correspond to any known creature on Earth if it's an Orc or a Goblin.
SCP-xxxx-1 claims to not want to cause harm to anyone, and that they merely killed the player so that they may be free. SCP-xxxx-1 also appears to have the abilities of the player's character, ranging from superhuman force, to elemental magic, to being extremely quick and being able to precisely attack someone's weak points.
Discovery: SCP-xxxx-1 was found about when one human entity in medieval armor and a greatsword was found wandering the streets in Lisbon, asking people about the real world. SCP-xxxx-1 was captured and questioned by a SCP Foundation Agent, claiming to be docile, and that they mean no harm. It was brought to a SCP facility and questioned.
The people within the games shop were escorted out by agents, who told them there was a gas leak and that it was dangerous to remain there, the owner was questioned about who bought the disc, with these people being captured, given Class-A amnestics, and returned back to their normal lives. The owner claims to not know where the disc case came from.
The shop is now protected, with agents not letting anyone in without permission.
Experiments: A few experiments were conducted after the incident, shown below.
