Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in 5 m x 5 m x 5 m all-black cube, with no windows or other outside contact besides security cameras. Cameras are to have black lenses,with no illumination items. Daily checks for breaches are mandatory. The door will remain triple-locked at all times, unless permitted by Dr. ████.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a vaguely humanoid creature with a standard human-looking torso and legs, but cephalopod-like arms. The arms end it claw-like appendages. All parts of it are black, except the eyes, which are white.

SCP-XXXX, is usually passive, but exposing it to any form of white light will cause SCP-XXXX’s eyes to turn red, and the specimen will charge and swipe at the source. If the swipe hits any biological substance, the substance will instantly disintegrate. The cause of the disintegration is unknown.

Addendum:

Test A - █/██/████

Subject: D-4738

Procedure: D-4738 was sent into the cube with a penlight. Upon turning it on, the cameras blacked out, screams were heard, and the light was quickly snuffed out.

Results: Subject expired. D-4738’s jumpsuit was found with the front absent in the cube during routine checks.

Analysis: More testing is required. SCP-XXXX is to be moved to a more secure facility.

Special Containment Procedures: Since all SCP-XXXX-B instances are contained, SCP-XXXX-A is effectively contained as well.

All SCP-XXXX-B instances are to be kept in standard humanoid containment chambers, furnished with all required objects for daily life. SCP-XXXX-B instances may practice reverence of SCP-XXXX-A, as long as said worship does not conflict with any personnel's safety. SCP-XXXX-B instances are allowed to request objects, and said requests are to be reviewed and accepted or denied by Lead Researcher [INSERT NAME HERE].

Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation for a Leibniz-class entity¹ and the group of 34 people "powering" said entity.² SCP-XXXX-B is not a physical being, but rather a gaseous form, able to change shape and move through microscopic barriers. SCP-XXXX-B instances are caucasian humans, possessing north-eastern American accents. Aside from their religion,³ SCP-XXXX-B instances are identical to non-anomalous humans.

SCP-XXXX-A is regarded as a deity by SCP-XXXX-B instances, who refer to it as "The Ever-Present." SCP-XXXX-B instances worship SCP-XXXX-A not dissimilarly to Abrahamic faiths.

SCP-XXXX-B instances will occasionally ask for favors from SCP-XXXX-A. Said favors are referred to as "Currents." Currents range from material objects, such as books or furniture, to existential concepts, such as the meaning of life and emotions. SCP-XXXX-A can grant material Currents, but all known requests of non-physical objects have been responded to with silence.

Special Containment Procedures: When not in use, SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a locked safe deposit box in Site-██.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 7-inch vinyl record containing the song "Dead" by American rock band They Might be Giants. When played, the record shows no immediate anomalous effects. However, upon completion of the record, all humans within hearing range of the record player⁴ spontaneously disappear, and are replaced by a plastic bag, containing various food items.
