**Description:
5078 is an anomalous radio frequency that can tell approximately when and/or how an incident at sea will happen, with no known origin. This frequency can be picked up by any device with a speaker that is either within a three nautical mile radius from the site of the incident, or any device that belongs to any person that has some form of personal bond or or relationship with someone in the incident, although anyone directly affiliated with the incident cannot pick up the signal. It usually appears three hours before the incident will happen, but the time before the incident can differ due to the size or importance of the incident.

It communicates in complex sentences via Morse code, and can show up on any ocean, sea or large lake. It was first discovered while researching SCP-054-FR. It will give a detailed description of how the incident will happen and why, and if it could be prevented.

There is currently no way known to contain SCP-5078, as when it is not broadcasting, it stops existing.
