Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX due to its large size is unable to be moved and must be guarded by armed guards at all times. SCP-XXXX must be kept with an exclusion zone stretching 1Km in every direction with an electrified fence. Any breach in the fence must be investigated by onsite guards. Anybody found crossing into the area will be arrested and escorted off the premises. On the escape of any person from SCP-XXXX-1, they must be detained and debriefed. Following this, they will be treated with Class-C amnestics and a cover story will be created.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an 11 metre, by 8 community swimming pool. The pool seems to have a maximum depth of 2.2 metres and the shallowest depth of 1 Metre. The pool has approximately a total volume of 140800 litres of chlorinated water.
SCP-XXXX was first discovered in ███████, in 2013 due to a large number of disappearances from people inside of the artefact. A Foundation Agent embedded in ███ heard of these incidents and dispatched Foundation agents and Scientists to examine the pool.
Anything that enters SCP-XXXX and sinks under the water is instantly transported to what appears to be another dimension SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 is a large body of water with no sign of a surface. The water is incredibly dark with no signs of light from any direction. Normal depth and direction measuring devices do not work inside of the entity. At the current point in time, there is no way to retrieve any subject that enters SCP-XXXX-1 immediately after entry. Contrary to that, it is possible for subjects to exit if they are attached to a rope or other way of connecting to the outside dimension. SCP-XXXX-1 appears to be infinite with no one subject appearing at the same entrance to the object as beforehand. multiple subjects have entered the pool and this has led to believe that there are multiple entrances to SCP-XXXX-1.
Drones have been sent into SCP-XXXX-1 and have recorded extremely low-frequency sounds from the water similar to those made by underwater creatures named SCP-XXXX-2. On the [DATA EXPUNGED] the first clear sign of these animals was spotted in the distance by a D-class subject. The subject began to show symptoms of exposure to Infrasound wave. After long exposure to the sound, subject die from infrasound.
SCP-XXXX-2 is described as a large marine mammal resembling that of a whale. It has only been seen from a distance but it has been seen to have 4 fins on each half of its body.
Addendum: acquisition report SCP-XXXX was first found on the ██/██/████ and field agents were immediately dispatched to the location and secured the area. Realising that the artefact was too large to transport to a secure facility the foundation decided to create an exclusion zone around the pool.
