Scp-3526 is currently kept on the second floor break room on site 18,
and is to be accompanied by 1 site security at all times. No personel under level 3 clearance shall be allowed access to Scp-3526. (See incident 1-A and 1-B)

Description:

Scp-3526 is a brightly colored red and silver gum ball machine that is approximately 4 feet 3 inches tall, and weighs from 70 to 73 pounds depending on how many gum balls are present in the machine. Scp-3526 was found in a Walmart in Lebanon Pennsylvania when the foundation intercepted calls the local police were getting about a man dressed in all white carrying a talking gum ball dispenser around the store. Witnesses say the man was about 6 feet tall and had no mouth or lower jaw. The where abouts of this man are currently unknown. The red and silver material is made of an unidentifiable substance that is not on the periodic table. Tests show that the material is nearly indestructible. At the area where the coin slot would normally be there is a mouth filled with 2 rows of 14 teeth on the upper and lower jaw, similar to a human mouth. When approached by a human, Scp-3526 will open its mouth and stick its tongue out waiting for a quarter to be dropped in. After receiving the quarter the mouth will close and proceed to eat the quarter. Then the top of the machine will begin vibrating, dispensing a small gum ball. The gum ball that is given to the customer is 1 inch in diameter, and looks like a normal gum ball but it is made of plastic and can be opened almost like an easter egg. When openers, a mixture of the same food the recipient had the night before, but condensed to a ball shape. Scp-3526 only dispenses food that was eaten between 12-14 hours before the gum ball was purchased. While Scp-3526 is capable of speech it does not talk to anyone who doesn’t buy a gum ball from it. When Scp-3526 does speak however, it only wants to talk about how nice it would be if the previous customer would buy another gum ball.

Incident 1-A:

On 10/1/17, Dr. Hayden Arnick of level 2 clearance was in the process of purchasing a gum ball from Scp-3526 when his finger got caught in its mouth and was bitten clean off. After his recovery, he suggested the class to be moved from Safe to Euclid. The request was denied.

Incident 1-B:

On 11/5/17 Dr. Markus Jones of level 2 clearance purchased a gum ball from Scp-3526. When the gum ball was opened it was completely filled with Dr. Markus’s stomach acid. The stomach acid burnt his skin to the point where you could see the muscles in his arm. Dr. Markus Jones had not eaten within the time Scp-3526’s abilities occur. Site officials banned level 2 personel from access to Scp-3526 following up to this incident.

Notes: Scp-3526 appears to say goodbye to personel when they leave the break room and hello when they come in. Personel find the gum ball machine to be “friendly”.
When Scp-3526 is given any coin that is not a quarter, the coin will be eaten anyways without any gum balls being dispensed.
