This Location does not exist according to the public and it is important to maintain that status quo.

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a pataphysical based cognitohazard attached to a dilapidated dock ( from now on referred to as scp-xxxx-1 found in xxxx lake in Ontario, Canada. SCP-xxxx was discovered when a string of xx disapearences began to plague a nearby community, of xxxx. If an individual becomes infected by SCP-xxxx, they will instantly dissapear, leaving no trace except for a scp-xxxx-2 instance.

SCP-xxxx-1 was discovered in 1949. It appears to have been hastily built out of period correct materials, however interestingly it is composed of only one type of wood, Ash.

SCP-xxxx-1 Is covered in hundreds of simple carvings in the wood. These carvings are referred to collectivly as SCP-xxxx-2. Every SCP-xxxx-2 instance is composed of a an individuals name followed by the words "was here". Since its discovery in 1949, the number of names has gone from 29 to 236. A new carving is found to have been added when anyone triggers SCP-xxxx's cognitohazardous effect.

Our original conclusion was that SCP-xxxx effect was triggered by knowledge of its existence. However, the pataphysics department discovered that a remplir event is triggered only when an individual attempts to understand, explain, rationalize or decipher their knowledge of scp-xxxx.

Without the critical point of knowledge of this anomaly^xxx(footnote, defined as) it is possible to analyze the reports without causing a remplir effect. Furthermore without attempting to understand the research it was possible to compile the information safely. Use of this method requires splitting researchers into two groups. The Content Group and the Context Group. only 3 individuals have been taken by this anomaly since this discovery of its effect in xxxx.

SCP-XXXX is an anomoly located around a lake in quebec, Canada. The anomoly seems to specifically affect the derilict remains of an old pier, nonetheless unnaturally preserved in its position. . This pier is all that remains of the nearby town of xxxx which was lost to a forest fire in 1947.
The anomolous effects seem to stem from this pier. Upon discovering any knowledge of this pier, allmost individuals feel compelled to walk onto it. any attempts to prevent the individual form entering the pier has resulted in further personel loss. Carved, painted, burned into the wooden planks of this pier, is the chosen name of any individual who has ever stepped into the pier, followed by "was here"

After an individual records their name, they then walk to the end of the pier and jump in the water. dredging in this lake and surrounding lakes does not turn up any bodies related to this anomoly. GPS, hardwires and any other tracking methods all fail. The individuals seem to disappear once they fully enter the water.

REsulting in anyone who knew or leanred anything about it to be swallowed by it.

MTF agent broke the cycle by never learning or discovering anything about the pier, his truth came from within. That he finally accepted his lover was dead and he that noone truly will replace her. For him the pier meant a new start.
