SCP W-
SCP W in it's dormant state
Special Containment Procedures: SCP W is currently stored in the D-Block at Site-45, only personnel with a level 4 security pass, or with explicit permission from the Administrative department at site 45 may access SCP W. SCP W’s cell is a standard containment cell, with the addition of a pedestal, located in the centre of the room, and an extra 3.5 inches worth of wall reinforcements (on all 4 walls, the ceiling and the floor). In the event of a breach, a gelatine sealant will coat all walls, the bulkhead door, all of the vertices and all of the edges, sealing it in a vacuum. A highly corrosive Sodium Hydroxide gas and an Artificial enzyme fume will flood the room shortly after the sealant hardens (so approximately 40 secs), any breaches to the room will result in the release of the gas, followed by the sealant gel (to block the hole). Any living tissue that comes in contact with the gas will immediately begin to breakdown and ‘melt’, if untreated within the next hour then necrosis will set in killing any remaining living tissue. The sealant coating the room is able to suppress the gas's effects, however the pedestal won't likely survive a breach.
Description: SCP W is a dark metallic substance, similar in consistency to store bought jelly. SCP W is unconscious, cannot react or function with anything in its surroundings unless given a written note including the name of a neaby object (or short description), and relevant instructions on how that object should be changed. Once this note has been completed and ‘given’1 SCP W, it will attract itself towards the object, completely cover it (Unhindered by size or complexity) and then it will bulge or move depending on what additions or removals were requested2 .Once this process is complete, it will move to one side, go back to the approximate size of a tennis ball, and become dormant again. SCP W has thus far improved firearms, a variety of machinery including a helicopter, food or consumables, living creatures and even the atomic structure of items. SCP W always goes through the modification process in 2 minutes and 41 seconds, regardless of the situation or condition. It is not known where SCP W sources the raw materials to build onto objects, but no reports of missing materials have come in through testing, so we can safely assume its not taking them from its nearby area. All attempts to stop SCP W whilst improving the object have failed, bullets, explosives, sharps and even forms of radiation exposure have no effect on either SCP W, or the subject it engulfs. However the upgrades only last a small period of time, usually just enough time for their intended purpose, (See appendum W-22 for more). This can be cheated by requesting an amount of time these upgrades will last, however this is in some cases ill advised as SCP W generally is correct in its time choices, (See Appendum W-142 for more)

A C-130 Cargo plane was modified “To be able to reach an orbit if earth without an issue, keeping the crew alive and it must be able to return”.The plane was engulfed completely, and after there were large boxes over the wings ( Presumably some form of an oxidiser for Propeller engines), the cockpit was full of new components, and various RCS modules were visible. Many things seemed to make little sense, and we were unable to learn by deconstructing the new parts, but none the less the craft made it into orbit, and upon landing the parts added to make space travel possible simply sizzled and formed a smoke, within seconds they were gone. This lasted 4.1 hours, which was just enough time to get the craft over the Kármán Line and back.

The longest running form of SCP W’s effects have lasted a grand total of 194 days thus far, this is expected to go on for another 2.5 years, as the effects have modified a refrigerator (to make it last 3 years without any form of electricity). Time specifications are a recommended input, but aren’t necessary.

Well here I was, working with the researchers with no experience in the lab. Dr. Lachlan O'Hehir used to have an assistant who had recently been killed working with SCP-914, I didn't know the details which was probably for the best. Now I was here to put a note inside of some jelly, and a class D who was tied to a chair would do something? Seemed kind of stupid but not the worst I've seen here. He screamed and screamed, after the jelly had left him alone he was silver and shiny, out
