Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be surrounded by yellow hazard tape with cognito hazard warning signs placed at intervals of five (5) meters. These signs are in english and the native language of the location. Class C personnel are to guard the area that SCP-XXXX is inhabiting at ten (10) meter intervals.

Personnel stationed at SCP-XXXX are required to take a monthly psychological examination. If any personnel are showing confusion or doubt to the nature of their position, they are to be moved to a different area.

If locals ask nicely they may explore the ruins for any lost family heirlooms or object of that liking. These visitors are not allowed to stay for more than thirty (30) minutes. Non-residents are not allowed to come within one (1) meter of the hazard tape. They may take pictures but nothing else.

In the event that SCP-XXXX disappears suddenly, satellite imagery will be used to relocate it. Once relocated, signs and personnel are replaced to fit the location.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a crumbling Neapolitan castle roughly one-hundred (100) meters long and sixty (60) meters wide. There are faded carvings on the still standing arches that can not be identified. The structure is 60% destroyed and every time it moves it becomes a little bit more destroyed.

SCP-XXXX has a tendency to disappear from a location and appear in another. SCP-XXXX is a memetic cognitohazard, it affects those who have sustained contact with it for a long enough time or knew the location that SCP-XXXX appears in this location is designated as SCP-XXXX-A. There are multiple effects, some are universal and others are rarer in victims.

These effects include:
- Thinking that the castle has always been there (Universal in all people that have been to or seen SCP-XXXX-A.)
- Thinking that they have been inside SCP-XXXX (~75% in locals, ~40% in people who have visited SCP-XXXX-A, ~5% in people who have seen SCP-XXXX-A.)
- Thinking that the castle has some kind of family relation to SCP-XXXX. (One to three local families. [See Interview XXXX-1])

Once SCP-XXXX disappears, all the memetic damage is reversed and all those affected forget about the castle entirely (See Interview XXXX-2).

If an object that is not part of SCP-XXXX is inside of SPC-XXXX when it travels that object disappears from the first location and doesn't reappear in the next location. Any and all travel into SCP-XXXX is restricted to thirty (30) minutes at a time after incident XXXX-1 when a C class personnel was standing inside of SCP-XXXX during its movements.

SCP-XXXX was discovered in ████ by finding a major difference in satellite images. The town of Tábor was the first recorded SCP-XXXX-A. Since them there have been five (5) different areas across the world, none of them had any connection.
