Special Containment Procedures: There is no way to contain SCP-8000.
Description: SCP-8000 is a black and red symbol of unknown origin. It appears on a wall around the South Kaibab area of the Grand Canyon. The SCP-8000-A event occurs really rarely. During SCP-8000-A, the symbol glows incredibly bright while multiple bright and white lasers shoot out of the symbol and head for objects that can be considered dangerous to humanity. People report seeing entities of unknown shape. The lasers are too bright to get a clear photo of them, but it's considered impossible to find out what is inside the laser. The length of SCP-8000-A doesn't seem to stop at a certain point. It will continue until its job is complete, at which point the lasers will disintegrate, with no traces of it going anywhere else. The symbol will also dim down and be observable again. When a laser reaches a dangerous entity, the figure will look like it attacks the object, causing the object to disintegrate and vanish. It's unknown if the atoms of the object still exist or not after being disintegrated. The lasers have been seen to be able to go anywhere on Earth, shooting to the other side of the world to eliminate a dangerous entity. The only exception to the disintegration is other SCPs. Any dangerous SCPs that have escaped their containment chamber are forcefully grabbed and teleported back to their chamber.
So far, nothing can stop SCP-8000-A from happening. And there are too many people to administer for amnestics, so the public is allowed to know of SCP-8000's existence.
