"How can you be so sure" asked purgakis dr. Paleon, "We don't even k ow what caused this hell"
As most aites were either raided, destroyed or gone from existence, afew remained, most sites with that were not popular or had anything famous in them.
"We do actually" continued paleon, "the fucking gate, the lock or whatever O5-14 said 20 years ago. The gate has been opened and that is confirmed by the lock and site 14 disappearing. Caused by a reality bender no. A blood thirsty god, the king maybe, maybe the bible god. I was never religious myself."
Purgakis was quiet, the site buzzled with researchers casually talking outside the hall, having no kdea what jist happened in the past 2 days.
"Light? Di she-" purgakis asked but quickly god cut bh paleon. "No, she has no idea we are down here. Its best we dont attract outsiders." Both directors were silent for a minute, then continued paleon "I fear we have weapons we never used because of the rules".
"Fuck the rules jam, fuck them, what will the council do? Kill us? The council is dead, those that aren't probably joined the beasts out of fear. All known sites are getting wiped 1 by 1. Site 0 haf just a massive breach, gears, bright clef are alive but where." Furious, he calmed back dont. Purgakis looked angry at the foundation but wanted revenge on the gods. "There is no reason to express our rage now, god we have time, if we dont we can always use 93." Purgakis was calmed by paleon. "93?"
"The disk, a duplicate of the original, it was destroyed being kept in site 14. The disk can send us to the holy lands. We can exist there, and maybe defeat them" aaid paleon. The disk was taken by paleon to test in in 914. Oddly enough the machine copied it. Paleon wrote it off as "no result" and kept the copied disk in his pocket. After he returned to the site he placed it on a mirror and entered it revealing a city, active one. Paleon having read the previous instances of 93, he knew the mirror can either make him go back or go forward in time.
"You smart piece of shit, we can cheat this. But wond that be treason?" Purgakis questioned.
" At this point we dont know who is with us. Light is our only hope and I doubt she is alive. If we EVER get raided, just let everyone in the gate and destroy the mirror. We might get stuck but better living life there than dying to the apocalypse.
