Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard containment locker at Site 73. No special containment required. Non-damaging research may be conducted on SCP-XXXX by clearance Level 2 personnel or higher, provided standard scheduling protocols are followed. Removal of samples from SCP-XXXX or otherwise conducting of experiments that may damage it must be approved by an on-site Level 3 or higher researcher.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 180 cm tall concrete statue of a nude human male, in a "reaching-out" pose - leaning forward with right arm extended in front - and with an obvious expression of fear. The statue's interior is a flawless reproduction of a human's internal structure, down to the smallest capillaries, such that SCP-XXXX could not have been sculpted by normal means. Chemical analysis revealed the concrete the statue is made out of is contaminated by countless organic molecules present in the average human being. Later research was able to extract partial DNA, though not enough to build a complete genetic profile. SCP-XXXX exhibits no other unusal properties, and neither does the rest of the wall that previously surrounded it (see below).
The anomaly was discovered inside Site 73's inner wall after security personnel reported having heard a loud noise - which they have been unable to describe - while on patrol in Sector 9. Inspections of the area with a ██-█ model internal imaging camera revealed the statue inside the wall facing outward, and a specialized extration team was called to retrieve it.
No records of such an anomaly exist in Foundation databases and no unusual activity can be seen in security footage of that section of the inner wall. Repairs for the hole left by the extration have been requested and approved.
Addendum XXXX-A: Dr. █████ has suggested SCP-XXXX may have been a victim of an anomaly similar to SCP-409, however there no evidence to support this.
Addendum XXXX-B: A request has been sent to expose SCP-182 to SCP-XXXX in order to make sure there is no one living in the statue or the statue itself is sentient. Approval pending.
