Caramel Raccoon "Knife"
- "Knife" is a fully sentient dagger capable of individual, unaided action and locomotion.
- Subject has an intense desire for carnage and bloodshed. It nourishes itself on the blood of people it has wounded.
- Subject often aims to do a lot more than wound.
- "Knife" is capable of rapid flight offered by unknown means, and seems to be aware of it's surroundings.
- Gripping or wedging the subject in place by the blade does not hinder it's effectiveness.
- Gripping or wedging the subject in place by the handle DOES completely halt motion and assault.
- Subject has a sheathe that it will rest in once satisfied. Forcing "Knife" into the sheath via holding the handle will pacify it for exactly 17 minutes. Afterwards it will resume activity as it pleases.
- Forcing the subject into the sheathe and maintaining some form of grip on the handle will pacify it indefinitely.
- Appearance: Dagger appears to be similar in design to known Pacific Northwest designs, with an aged but rustless blade of an undetermined metal. A single lateral well runs the full length of the blade that, when saturated with blood, glows vibrant red. This light trails through the air as the blade travels. The handle is comprised of a flat guard made from a material resembling bronze and a grip wrapped in dark bloodstained leather.
- A high pitched screeching noise can be heard from the subject as it absorbs blood, with the frequency and intensity growing with each passing kill. The sound will stop as the subject becomes satisfied.
- "Knife" is capable of forming a symbiotic relationship with another individual of like-mind by plunging itself into a victim and failing to kill them.
- Subject shows signs of hesitation as it seems to develop an understanding of it's potential partner.
- If the potential partner survives and consents, they are capable of full controlled utility of "Knife".
- Partner can wield, deploy, and recall the subject with no threat to their own well being.
- "Knife" seems to follow all commands, with no need to verbally communicate them.
- The sensation of telepathic communication with the subject has been described as: "A non-verbal intuitive understanding of it's intent" and "a hum deep within my soul".
- Partnership seems only to end upon the individuals death.
- One subject has been allowed prolonged partnership with "Knife" due to an uncanny proficiency with the subject, as well as a clear demonstration of their ability to control their own violent impulses.
- Partner is the only one to have shown the ability to instantaneously transport "Knife" through space. The activity is highly similar to the phenomenon known as teleportation.
- Current partner of the subject insists that the blade be referred to as "Knife" in his presence as opposed to it's designation. He insists that the subject approves of the determination. Instances of failing to do this have ended poorly.
