Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1028 is to be contained in a 100 x 100 x 100ft. metal box, built like a jungle terrarium. It is to be filled with trees, vines, grass, and various other plants. Cameras are to be put in every corner of the box, cleared of anything to observe SCP-1028. It’s containment should be checked at least once every two days, for any extra objects or external SCPs that may have entered containment. It is also to be interacted with at least once a week, and to see the other instances of itself at least 3 times a week.
Description: SCP-1208 resembles a velociraptor-like creature, covered in feathers on various areas on the body including the legs, arms, along the head, and at the end of the tail. SCP-1208 has been shown through multiple studies and experiments, to be very intelligent and capable of human speech. It’s unknown how it gained this ability to talk, and any and all conversations with SCP-1208 have proved futile. For more information, please read note J-1.
SCP-1028 was discovered in Southeastern [REDACTED], found by a team exploring the swamp nearby. They seem to live in packs, communicating frequently with clicks and various other sounds. The members of the pack are referred to as SCP-1208-1 through SCP-1208-4. When SCP-1208 is separated from it’s pack, it seems to start searching around the room, and clawing at the walls. It seems to have an acute sense of smell, since it could sense exactly where the other instances were. After being seperated from the others for a week, it seemed to go into a sort of state of slight depression. It had gave up clawing around at the walls and any scientists that tried to talk to it would get no answer. When reunited, it would show forms of affection by hugging, excitedly chirping, and hopping around.
While in containment, SCP-1028 has been observed to be building nests, and attempting to lay eggs. SCP-1028, so far, it hasn’t seemed to lay anything yet. It has seemed to be disappointed the next morning, almost as if it was expecting something. It does seem possible that it can have children, since it has been shown to “flirt” with other instances of itself. SCP-1028 has also been shown to have no gender, and no sexual organs anywhere on the body.
