Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
SCP-XXXX-A's interior, photographed by a surveillance drone.
Special Containment Procedures: A site has been built around SCP-XXXX-A, named Site-██. The area around the site cannot be accessed by civilians, all will be turned away and force will be applied if necessary. Only personal with Level-3 Clearance can access the site. Personal working around there are to be rotated every 2 weeks. Any SCP-XXXX-B instances are to be shot on site.
Description: SCP-XXXX-A is a abandoned grey building, presumably a previous garage. Any humans around SCP-XXXX-A will experience a small urge to touch the walls of SCP-XXXX-A. Prolonged exposure to the area of effect will make the subject become desperate to touch the walls. This will also make the subject think about their previous ‘bad’ life decisions, and claim the building could fix it. They will become violent, if exposure is continued. When any living thing comes in contact to the building walls will start to phase into the wall. Attempting to pull them out will result in failure. At first glance, it seems that they are simply phasing through the wall, as the ‘phased’ parts of them will appear on the inside. This is not actually them, but rather SCP-XXXX-B. SCP-XXXX-B will be an exact replica of the phased person, and will share their memories. Similarly, they will share the same personality in the majority of cases. Sometimes, their personalities will be refined, for a lack of a better term: improved. For example, if a person with anger issues touches the walls, the SCP-XXXX-B instance will have less of a temper.
The person that touches the walls will be sent to one of many unknown prisons. The number of prisons is believed to be infinite. These prisons seem to exist out of reality. It is theorized that the only way someone could could get inside or out one of these locations is to [REDACTED] immediately after initial entrance. People taken to these prisons will have their skin replaced with what is described as: “A weird jade metal”, as no cameras work in the locations, only communication devices seem to work for a limited time. The people taken there become SCP-XXXX-C. The only other entities inside these prisons are the ‘prison guards’, SCP-XXXX-D. From what information has been gathered from and seen from tests and Addendum SCP-XXXX-1, they claim to be ‘the fallen improvements’. This is thought to mean they are the SCP-XXXX-B’s that have died. Items that make contact with the walls will also be taken to these prisons. See Test Log Test-1 for more details.
Addendum XXXX-1: Discovery.
On the ██/██/1982, a Mobile Task Force (MTF Stigma-3 Rumor Seekers) was sent out after multiple reports of people going missing after telling everyone around them that the building can fix themselves and those around them, then proceeded to try and convince them to join them to be ‘claimed’ by the building before taking off. The people who claimed this did not mention what building they were referring to. The MTF Unit arrived on site as a man was phasing into the building. They attempted to pull him out but failed. Approximately 2 minutes later, an instance of SCP-XXXX-B (who the MTF believed to be the man) came out of the building. He was detained and interviewed by MTF commander, Albert █████.
Interview Log:
Interviewer: Commander Albert █████.
Interviewee: SCP-XXXX-B
<BEGIN LOG>
SCP-XXXX-B: (silence)
Commander Albert █████: Well? What happened just then?
SCP-XXXX-B: I have no idea what you mean.
Commander Albert █████: When you phased through the wall of that building?
SCP-XXXX-B: Others like me have tried to disguise the fact that they aren’t the people. Well I prefer to cut the bullshit. I ain’t him.
Commander Albert █████: So you’re claiming that you’re not that man?
SCP-XXXX-B: Yes. I am, well, an improvement.
Commander Albert █████: Improvement? Could you elaborate on that?
SCP-XXXX-B: Well, I’d say the word ‘improvement’ speaks for itself.
Commander Albert █████: (frustrated) Sir, I am going to need more information than that. Could you at least tell me where the original man is-
SCP-XXXX-B: (stands up from his seat) No! I don’t have time to waste on you. All you need to know is that the man is where HE belongs, where all of you belong!
Commander Albert █████: Calm down, or we will make this much worse for you. Now would you please elaborate?
SCP-XXXX-B: (inaudible) ..imp. Fine. That man you saw? He wasn’t unlike any human. Made a lot of past mistakes. I’m just gonna make sure no mistakes are made under his name again.
Commander Albert █████: (silence)
SCP-XXXX-B: What’s wrong? You got your elaboration.
Commander Albert: But where is the man? The REAL one.
SCP-XXXX-B: (slightly annoyed) I’ve already TOLD you. In his true home. Where he belongs. In fact, I can see him right now (Turns towards northwest, in the direction of SCP-XXXX-A, then looks back at Commander Albert █████). Would you like to see?
Commander Albert █████: I don’t think-
(SCP-XXXX-B grabs Commander Albert █████ by the throat, picks him up, then runs off at anomalous speeds that was estimated to be around ██ kilometers, approaches SCP-XXXX-A and throws him against the wall. Commander Albert █████ starts to phase in and his SCP-XXXX-B instance comes out approximately 3 minutes later. The original SCP-XXXX-B instance was shot multiple times from different guns until it fell unconscious. It was shot multiple times more before it stopped breathing. A full autopsy was done on the corpse. See Autopsy Log SCP-XXXX-1. Additionally, Commander Albert █████’s SCP-XXXX-B instance was shot on sight.).
<END LOG>
Incident Log SCP-XXXX-1: At █:██ on the █/█/1984, an SCP-XXXX-D exited SCP-XXXX-A’s walls. It appeared to to be naive to it’s surroundings. An MTF was sent to detain it, but proved unsuccessful, as SCP-XXXX-D appeared to start decomposing after prolonged exposure to the sun.
Test-1
Item(s): Multiple solid objects
On: SCP-XXXX-A
Test record: The items, when they came in contact with SCP-XXXX-A, phased through the wall similar to how any human subjects would phase through, and didn’t appear on the inside of SCP-XXXX-A.
Test-2
Item(s): One dead body
On: SCP-XXXX-A
Test record: The dead body (of D-3477) was inserted into the wall, and after approximately 3 minutes, an identical SCP-XXXX-B instance to the D-Class. A quick interview followed to confirm the identity of the SCP-XXXX-B instance, and it was proven to be D-3477. Immediate termination followed with no complications.
Test-3
Item(s): One bird
On: SCP-XXXX-A
Test record: The bird was placed on SCP-XXXX-A’s walls and quickly phased through. Approximately 1 minute later, a exact replica of the bird emerged, but was able to reach speeds of ██ mph, while the average bird can only reach 20-30 mph. After testing the specimen was incinerated with no complications.
Test-4
Item(s): SCP-XXXX-B
On: SCP-XXXX-A
Test record: D-1006 was told to touch the walls, and his SCP-XXXX-B followed approximately two minutes after. He was then detained and he was made him touch the walls again, except this time, SCP-XXXX-A’s wall was solid on the touch of the SCP-XXXX-B instance. Other subjects were able to touch the wall as long as he was touching it. The SCP-XXXX-B instance was terminated, however this was only obtained after it attacked the research personal, which resulted in █ staff casualties before being immobilized.
