Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx Is to be kept in a container down a 10-meter deep pit inside a sound isolated chamber with a 1.1-meter thick steel door at least 30 meters away from SCP-xxxx. Any interaction with SCP-xxxx is to be approved by personnel with a higher clearance than level 3. When entering the containment chamber one is to wear shoes equipt with high sound absorbent material such as open cell polymer to minimize sound waves caused by contact.

Description: SCP-xxxx is a sentient non-newtonian fluid with traces of liquid mercury that shows an anomalous response to sound. It stays inanimate in its container until sound that is any louder than 50 dB within at least 20 meters is heard in which it will start to progressively shape itself into a crocodilian reaching up to 15 meters in length. SCP-xxxx will initiate hostile behavior towards anything living in its vicinity and will resume staying solid until all sound within its presence is silenced. It doesn't have any need for sustenance and does not eat nor does it require hydration. SCP-xxxx has been recorded to possess strength enough to tear apart metal with ease and doesn't seem to react to pain or any kind of external damage. SCP-xxxx has regenerative abilities and will form itself together again upon its own destruction. This process usually takes 5 minutes depending on how much it is disfigured. Thermal weaponry has proven to be effective in incapacitating SCP-xxxx.

Several camera recordings have caught SCP-xxxx making sounds identical to that of an alligator. Further study has also shown that the form it takes resembles that of the extinct species Deinosuchus Hatcheri.
