SCP-3741 is to be kept in a locked box in Dr.[data expunged]'s room, at least one (1) kilometer away from SCP-3108, as to prevent confusion of the two.
Only B-class and higher ranking officers or allowed to Interact with SCP-3741 during testing sessions to prevent casualties.
Description
SCP-3741 is in the shape of an original Nerf gun, produced in 2004. When the gun is fired, the bullet will have a similar speed and impact of real bullets of its size. After firing, the inside of the barrel exhibits scorching marks. Within 4-6 hours these scorch marks will have disappeared, regardless of cleaning of the barrel. Individuals who have tested the gun have reported significant recoil. After the darts have been fired 3-5 times, they become mangled and unusable. attemps to repair the darts have been unsuccessful. Using darts that have not been found at the recovery site have not had the same anomalous properties, and instead fire normally.
Recovery
SCP-3741 was found in a suburban home at ████, Ohio in 200█. The residents of the home had been heavily injured due to interaction with SCP-3741. After examination, SCP-3741 had been gifted to the child of the house owners during a sleepover party. after confiscating SCP-3741 and the darts with it, the residents of the house where given amnestics. Injured residents where then relocated to St.█████ hospital.
