Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4371 is to be kept in a 10 x 10 x 10 containment chamber at Site-15 at all times. SCP-4371 is to be kept in the center of the room at all times. No one is allowed in SCP-4371's chamber unless testing procedures are authorized until further notice. Anyone caught within the 5-meter radius of SCP-4371 is to be immediately removed from its chamber. Any personnel caught eating or consuming SCP-4371-B is to be immediately removed from the area and brought in for medical assistance and mental screening.
Description: SCP-4371 was discovered on 03/22/99 after a 911 call in the city of ██████, Wyoming from Mrs. ████, who reported that her son, 14-year-old Manny ████, was burning his face off with a grill they had just purchased. After paramedics arrived at the scene, they discovered charred remains of multiple bodies in the backyard of the ████ residence. Autopsy and DNA testing show that the charred remains were the bodies of all members of the ████ family. All witnesses of the event were distributed Class-A Amnestics. Personnel sent to retrieve SCP-4371 a few days following the event were unable to be contacted. Shortly after the sudden termination of all contact with MTF-██, group ███ was sent to the household and discovered all members of MTF-██ deceased on the floor next to SCP-4371, with mutilated faces or melted skin.
The object in question is a BBQ Grill resembling a GSC2418 model. Anyone viewing the grill from a 5-meter radius feels a sudden urge to open the cover of SCP-4371. Upon opening the cover of SCP-4371, it reveals SCP-4371-B, which is a single object from a random assortment of edibles. These can range from tenderloin steak to uncooked spaghetti. SCP-4371, after being opened, immediately starts up, and any attempts to make physical contact with SCP-4371 or SCP-4371-B results in immediate burns (See Addendum A). Any attempt to close the cover of SCP-4371 also results in immediate burns. The process ends within a 2-3 minute interval of time. SCP-4371-B becomes burned and non-edible after observations upon completion of grilling. SCP-4371-B also becomes completely dark. All tests with SCP-4371 have concluded with SCP-4371-B being burned and have also always resulted in the color of the edible changing to black. After the shutting off of SCP-4371, subjects immediately proceed to consume SCP-4371-B.
Upon consumption of SCP-4371-B, the subjects begin to feel nauseous and dizzy and act aggressively and/or agitated, and over time, get more drowsy and mentally ill. Subjects at this point have been reported having started attacking any nearby personnel and or attempting to cause destruction around the area. An hour after consumption, the subject immediately attempts to kill themself using the grill. This process is usually done by shoving the head inside the grill, eventually killing the victim. All attempts to terminate SCP-4371 have ended in failure, having seemingly indestructible capabilities.
Addendum A: The resulting burns vary, ranging from 1st degree burns to 3rd-degree burns. However, there are reports of burns that some D-Class have obtained that were "Worse than 4th-degree burns, if that's a thing," resulting in melting flesh.
Addendum B: When placing items other than SCP-4371-B into SCP-4371, the item in question catches on fire and turns into ashes upon the startup of the grill. The grill immediately shuts off and all mental effects previously obtained are cleared.
Addendum C: The following interview was conducted during authorized testing of SCP-4371.

Foreword: The interview was conducted on D-7583, a 24-year-old Caucasian male who was convicted of assault, rape, and murder, to document the effects that consuming SCP-4371-B has.
Please note: Upon selection as a test subject for testing of SCP-4371, D-7583 was starved for 2 days prior to the date of testing procedures.
[Begin Log], [5 minutes after consumption of SCP-4371-B]Dr. ████████: Alright, uh, let's see… D-7583, how are you feeling right now..?
D-7583: Pain. Just… pain.
Dr. ████████: Could you describe to me this, this pain that you are currently experiencing?
D-7583: It's like a growing feeling. The [inaudible] inside.
D-7583 violently coughs and groans.
D-7583: Let me go…
Dr. ████████: You are to stay awake at all times.
Dr. ████████: Anyways, how did SCP-4371-B taste?
D-7583: It tasted like coal.. mixed in with other substances that worsened the taste. I couldn't stop eating it, however. The feeling was too great. You STARVED me for 2 god damn days, Doc!(Silence for 5 minutes)
[11 minutes after consumption of SCP-4371-B]
Dr. ████████: 7583, how are you feeling now? Have any new feelings risen within you?
D-7583: Doc, you tell me. How are you.. (twitches head) feeling?
Dr. ████████: Hey, (points head away), you might want to pay more attention to him. He's becoming more aggressive.
[Fast forward, 36 minutes after consumption of SCP-4371-B]
Dr. ████████ has left the room, and the remaining personnel continue to observe D-7583.
D-7583 starts banging on the exit doorway of the chamber.
D-7583 starts screaming maniacally.
D-7583: HELP! HELP ME PLEASE! SOMEONE HELP-
D-7583's sentence is suddenly cutoff; he is unable to speak, only communicating via distressed humming and banging.
[Fast forward, 50 minutes after consumption of SCP-4371-B]
D-7583 is now starting to bash the walls of the chamber with his head and fists.
[Fast forward, 55 minutes after consumption of SCP-4371-B]
D-7583 is able to break a hole into the door and is breaking out.
A Facility Guard on guard enters the chamber and tries to restrain D-7583.
Facility Guard ████: Stop resisting! Hey, ██████, help me restrain this crazy son of a-
D-7583: LET. ME. OUT. I WILL JOIN THE OTHERS! THE GODS HAVE WILLINGLY DECIDED MY FATE.1
Facility Guard ████'s neck is snapped by D-7583. Multiple facility guards that noticed the murder quickly terminate D-7583 from a safe distance.

Closing Statement: After the termination of D-7583, Dr. ████████ was notified of his death and requested the walls of the chamber to be upgraded. Testing of SCP-4371 has been suspended until further notice.
