Special Containment Procedures: SCP-████ is to be kept in a 14m long by 15m wide and 10m tall containment chamber with a 4m long by 13m and 20m deep tank with lake water that needs to be changed once a month, this is important due to the fact that if the water isn't changed at the proper time or has any sort of chemical, such as chlorine, it causes extreme sickness with symptoms such as vomiting, internal bleeding and shortness of breath, if any of these symptoms occur, report immediately to security personnel so they can subdue SCP-████ and medical personnel can deal with the issue. This tank is also to be checked so any holes or eggs(See Incident ████-A) when changing the water. Six or seven fish are to be released into the tank once a day as SCP-████'s food.
The floor of its containment chamber should have at least 3cm of dirt spread on the floor, it sleeps on the dirt and will refuse to sleep if there is not the required amount. SCP-████'s containment chamber has a large metal bowl that is to be filled with lake water once every two days because it refuses to drink from its tank. Only personnel level 3 and higher are allowed to enter its containment chamber
Description: SCP-████ is a 275cm tall and 305cm long from head to tail, its legs have fur running from its elbows to the spine and dark gray scales, light tan fur that covers the top of its head and runs down the spine to the end of the tail with a small tuft.
Its paws have short claws and webbed feet. Its eyes are a light gray with and have an extra eyelid for help with seeing underwater. SCP-████ can close its nose to prevent water from getting in.
Its personality is docile and shy, preferring to hide in its tank when researchers come in to fill its water bowl. But can get agitated by large groups of people or being touched.
When angered long spikes will extend from out of the fur along its spine and tail, the spikes are laced with a poison a special organ in its body produces, this poison will also drip from its nostrils, eyes, mouth and claws, if the poison is ingested or inserted into the bloodstream and victim will suffer seizures, muscle atrophy, dizziness, vomiting, blood clots and the sufferer will be thrown into a coma if they somehow survive the initial shock of the poison, the time of the coma depends on how much poison they were exposed to. ██ people have died to SCP-████'s poison
SCP-████ is able to take 8 to 13 bullets before it passes out, Its scales are like Kevlar making it even harder to injure it. When it is injured the wounds only take 1 to 2 hours to heal completely no matter the severity.
It was found that it is able to reproduce asexually once every year(See incident ████-A) and creates fist-sized, semi-transparent, brown eggs which have a thick slime made of SCP-████'s poison coating them. The possibility of incubating and hatching one of these eggs is pending O5 approval.
Incident ████-A:SCP-████ was seen to be acting abnormal, its attitude changed from docile to aggressive and it was taking large mouthfuls of dirt into its tank. Researchers thought that its tank might have contaminated water and sent security personnel in to subdue it so the water could be changed. When the security team entered SCP-████ was asleep, when they approached and got ready to secure it safely it suddenly awoke and dragged 2 of the security into its tank, it came up again a few seconds later and pulled another person in, but others were able to get enough hits in to subdue it.
The three personnel who were pulled in were affected by its poison and had to be hospitalized immediately, one of them expiring from █████ and ████████. The other two survived and they were questioned about what they saw once they awoke from their comas, they both said the same thing, the tank had a large hole in it with claw marks surrounding it.
A crew was sent in once SCP-████ was subdued and they found the hole the two security personnel had described, when the repairmen went in to fix the hole, they saw was that it was filled with mud, they began cleaning it out but started finding eggs, they quickly got out of the tank and reported to the researchers and security went in to retrieve them, when all ██ eggs were removed they were destroyed, the hole repaired and SCP-████ was returned, it returned to its docile nature and normal behaviour.
