Per the greenlighting policy, first-time authors must get concepts reviewed in the Ideas Critique Forum or IRC chatrooms before creating a feedback thread in the Drafts and Critique forum. Draft critique can still be sought via IRC and PM without greenlights.

When you have a draft that you know for sure the audience will like, bring it to Drafts Critique Forum. Please note that the forums move much slower than the chat, and the draft forum moves slower than the ideas forum!

The mainsite-run IRC chatrooms are the most reliable source of real-time critique discussion.

SCP-8788-H.
Object class: Safe

Description: SCP-8788-H is a pair of round spectacles with gold frames and crimson lenses. Etched on the frames are a number of symbols, researchers suggest Sumerian origins. These spectacles, when worn display certain adjectives describing whoever is in the line of sight. The following are some examples of what has been displayed to describe the research team assigned:

Happy
Sad
Angry
Betrayed
Thief
Murderer

An experiment was conducted with SCP-8788-H and an 2x4 mirror. D-Class personnel was instructed to look into the mirror whilst wearing SCP-8788-H and read the words displayed. The D-Class reported there was nothing displayed. Further research is needed to clearly understand this SCP.
