Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedure: SCP-XXXX is contained in a 10m x 8m x 5m size room with a securely locked garage door. Two guards are to be stationed outside of its containment chamber at all times.

Permission to open said garage doors requires permission from the Class-4 personnel in charge of SCP-XXXX’s containment, as well as a Class-4 keycard to open the garage door. Any attempt to open the garage door without prior permission will result in termination.

No personnel are allowed to enter SCP-XXXX, unless for testing purposes.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 1999 Subaru Outback Legacy. It includes all the features belonging to the model, and has been traced back to being made in a Subaru owned factory.

SCP-XXXX holds a driver’s seat, a front passenger seat, and three rear seats. Previous tests have shown that SCP-XXXX is fully capable of being driven without issue. Once every three months, SCP-XXXX is to be inspected by on-site mechanics to ensure SCP-XXXX remains functional.

Where problems begin with SCP-XXXX is when any living thing is sat on a passenger seat. Anyone sitting down anywhere but the driver’s seat starts to experience the feeling of car sickness after two minutes in SCP-XXXX if in motion. If SCP-XXXX is stationary, it can take up to 20 minutes for subjects to feel sick. The longer someone is seated in SCP-XXXX, the worse their condition becomes. A person’s medical condition is also taken into affect. See Test Result Log-1 SCP-XXXX and Test Result Log-2 SCP-XXXX below for more information.

There is no known cause for why SCP-XXXX is deadly to living things. More puzzling, however, is why the driver is seemingly unaffected by the effects. View Test Result Log-3 SCP-XXXX for driver seat test.

The last known owner of SCP-XXXX was David Hotchkins, age 36. He lived in [Redacted], Oregon, USA. He died in Oct 22, [Redacted] under the influence with three of his friends. Mr. Hotchkins was driving his friends’ car when he ran into a light pole, killing all of them.

After Mr. Hotchkins death, SCP-XXXX was taken to a warehouse. Thirteen years later, the Foundation was alerted to it containing an anomaly. Battle company, of the 21st Recovery Team, was dispatched to acquire SCP-XXXX. For recovery operation of SCP-XXXX, view Initial Contact SCP XXXX.

Following the operation, an interview was conducted for further explanation. See Initial Contact Interview SCP-XXXX.
