Description: SCP-5879 appears to be a standard russet potato, its anomalous abilities are revealed when harvested, eaten, or planted. If consumed it will slowly turn the victim into a copy of SCP-5879 until this process is completed the victim is referred to as SCP-5879-a. SCP-5879 is described to look, smell, and taste like the person who views it's favorite potato product. . While the victim turns, they display an urgent need to be covered in dirt. If buried, instances of SCP-5879-A instantly turn into SCP-5879 which proceeds to take root. If SCP-5879 takes root, it grows a plant that grows more SCP-5879 the plant is known as SCP-5879-B. Any plant growing in that patch of dirt transform into an instance of SCP-5879-B
