Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is kept in a secure locker located at Reliquary Containment Site 76. The conditions within the locker deviate from standard bibliographic protocol and must be maintained between 20°-22°C, and 40-50% relative humidity. Access to SPC-XXXX is restricted without approval from two researchers with level 3 clearance or direct approval from the Site Director.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a tome estimated to be created in the twelfth century. It is 34.6cm wide, 49.2cm long, and with a depth of 10.4cm. The mass of 25.4kg is greater than what would be expected from the volume and construction. The original leather covers, spine, and bronze clasp are still intact with minimal wear given the object's age and heavy use before containment. It is not known if this is an anomalous property SCP-XXXX itself or the result of secondary psychological reactions to its primary anomalous effects. After material sampling of both the pages and bindings resulted in permanent, although minimal, damage, resilience testing has been discontinued.
