Description: SCP-XXXX is a house in Uhrichsville, Ohio which is known to have been the site of a double murder-suicide in 1985, in which Mr. James Urquhart shot his wife Caroline and her lover Michael Peters to death before taking his own life. It came to the Foundation's attention through Agents Myra Fenwick and Derek Stanfield, who operate a "paranormal investigation" agency out of Athens, Ohio as a front to enable the Foundation to investigate publicly known reports of anomalous activity. They were contacted by a real estate agent responsible for marketing the house after three consecutive buyers left the house after fewer than four months in residence, complaining of being frightened and harassed by unexplained phenomena that they described as "ghosts." The agent was skeptical of these reports and hoped that Fenwick and Stanfield would be able to debunk the alleged hauntings so that the house could be resold at a reasonable price.

Agents Fenwick and Stanfield entered the house shortly after 9:00 p.m. on January 20, 2008, as all reports of anomalous phenomena originated from after sunset. Both agents witnessed multiple unexplained visual and auditory disturbances and exited the house after roughly 22 minutes, at which point Agent Stanfield activated an emergency signal requesting assistance from the Foundation. Responding personnel reported that both agents were in a highly agitated state and were unable to communicate coherently for several hours. They were transported to Site-17 for examination and treatment.
