Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4168 Should be kept in a 5 by 5 meter room with common household items including a table, chairs, mantelpiece and an untidy bed. The room should not contain any viewing windows, security cameras or large vents. The containment chamber is also to require a litter tray that is cleaned out every other day, a small bowl of water that is to be changed every day and a few various cat toys including a mouse and automated laser pointer to keep SCP-4168 entertained. SCP-4168 must be fed in the mornings at 07:00am and evenings at 06:00pm using "Felix branded cat food covered in jelly"- SCP-4168's previous owner Mr. █████
Description: SCP-4168 is a female household cat (“felis catus”) of the breed “ragdoll” which is commonly referred to as a pedigree breed. SCP-4168 has a unusually high intelligence for a household cat and is able to make rational decisions and understand basic english, french and egyptian although it does not speak it responds in a manner like it understands. If direct eye contact is made with SCP-4168 the viewer will do anything within their power to sit in the vicinity of SCP-4168 and “pet” it, the viewer is then considered SCP-4168-1 as they will pet SCP-4168 until they dehydrate and die (they appear to not have any higher brain function after eye contact is made). During SCP-4168-1’s petting of SCP-4168 it will state in a high pitched voice that SCP-4168 is a “good girl” and is “so cute” .
SCP-4168 is impossible to refer to in a bad manner, anyone that is aware of SCP-4168’s existence even if they don’t know that it is located inside the facility can’t help but show an abnormal amount of affection towards the SCP, the reason for this is unknown but it is theorized that SCP-4168 May poses telekinetic abilities. As per and average cat SCP-4168 can scratch using its front claws and does bit but evidence shows it does not express joy doing so.
It appears that SCP-4168 has a abnormally large life span first discovered by what we think was the Egyptians but possibly earlier. It is still unknown whether it has an infinite life span but it is confirmed that SCP-4168 can take physical damage, and external force of that could kill SCP-4168.
Addendum:
- It appears that SCP-4168 does not control its abilities and shows discomfort when SCP-4168-1 dies due to itself although it does enjoy the “petting”.
- SCP-4168's Previous owner was blind, We assume that that was the reason he avoided its anomalous effects.
- Attempts to stop SCP-4168-1 from SCP-4168 have caused SCP-4168 to become aggressive to the others containing it and starts using anything in its area to try to get to SCP-4168 including military grade persuasion tactics even if these skills were not knows before eye contact with SCP-4168, The reason for this is still unknown.
