Addendum 5263.1: Colour Change In Water

Interviewed: SCP-5263

Interviewer: Dr. █

Foreword: The following is Dr. █'s interview with SCP-5263 regarding the phenomenon that occurs in water because of SCP-5263.

[BEGIN LOG]

Dr. █: Tell me, how are you able to change the colour of water?

SCP-5263: (In Dutch) I do not understand, I cannot change the colour of water.

Dr. █: I would like you to continue in English, if that wouldn't be a problem with you.

SCP-5263: (In English) I cannot talk English that well, but I will try.

Dr. █: Thank you. So anyway, could you repeat for me what you just said?

SCP-5263: I said that I am not able to change the colour of water.

Dr. █: We have observations of water turning slightly red whenever you stand in a corner of your cell. Is there any reason for you to stand in any of the corners?

SCP-5263: There is no reason other than that I am bored. I feel… How do you say it… Like a magnet is pulling me into the corner. I have no control over this.

Dr. █: What do you think about when you stand in the corner?

SCP-5263: I think of nothing. It feels like sleep. I close my eyes, and when I open them, I try to lay down in the water again. I do not have a sense of time when I am standing in the corner.

Dr. █: Is there any reason for you to wear that cloak?

SCP-5263 appears to be thinking for a short time, then answers.

SCP-5263: No. I don't think there is. I just remember wearing this for as long as I can think back.

Dr. █: So what other early memories do you possess?

SCP-5263: I do not understand your question, I am very sorry.

Dr. █: Let me ask it in a different way. Do you remember anything else from a long time ago?

SCP-5263: Yes. I remember water. The feeling of water. I also remember a voice asking me something, though I do not know what.

Dr. █: Do you remember who's voice it was?

SCP-5263: No. I think it may have been my own, but I am not sure.

Dr. █: Is there any other information you need to share with us?

SCP-5263: No. I would just like to go back to my containment, if that is okay.

Dr. █: That is okay, you will be taken back to your containment. Thank you for your time.

[END LOG]

Closing Statement: After this interview, SCP-5263 was brought back to its cell, where it stood in the corner for five (5) hours. Dr. █ was happy with the results of this interview.
