Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard steel 0.25m x 0.25m x 0.25m containment safe, which is to be locked at all times when not in use for testing. The bottom of the safe should be lined with jewelry foam cushioning as to not damage the blade of SCP-XXXX. Testing involving the use of SCP-XXXX must be approved by a site director with Level III security clearance or higher due to the potentially fatal use of the object.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an occult sacrificial dagger. Currently, it is believed to originate from an anomalous ancient society in eastern South America. The blade of the object measures approximately 16 centimeters long and is made out of an unknown metal similar to steel. The handle of the object is brass and measures about 9 centimeters. SCP-XXXX's guard appears to be made out of the same metal as the blade.
If SCP-XXXX is used to cut, prick, or break the skin of a human subject in any way, it will begin to emit a high-pitched humming noise. About 0.75 seconds after it begins to emit the humming noise, SCP-XXXX will begin rapidly draining the blood of the subject in a way similar to a vacuum1. The blood will flow out of the wound received by the subject directly into the tip of SCP-XXXX's blade, and will not stop until the subject's body is completely drained of blood . The object will stop emitting the humming noise only when all blood has entered the blade. Researchers have concluded that it is impossible to impede or stop this process in any way (See Addendums XXXX-D1 through XXXX-D4).
It is unknown where the blood of SCP-XXXX's subjects is transported. High speed footage analysis shows that the blood flowing into the blade of the object is entering the blade itself, but analysis of the object shows that there are no openings for blood to enter the blade. Further research of this is ongoing.
Subjects are observed to be notably clumsier when handling SCP-XXXX, even those who have previously displayed knowledge to safety when handling blades. This is assumed to be another anomalous property of SCP-XXXX. Nevertheless, it has been classified as Safe because of its simplicity and ease to contain.
Addendum XXXX-D1: Work in progress trust me guys its gonna be awesome
