Description: SCP-XXXX is an old fashion record player, with no visible branding. It is mostly wood and has a brass horn/ It also has a constantly spinning record that cannot be removed. No further attempts have been made to remove the record for fear of breaking the machine. The head does not move and so constantly repeats the same passage. SCP-XXXX lacks apparent power sources but the record and turn handle are constantly spinning.
When a human is exposed to SCP-XXXX without proper ear protection, they experience Schizophrenic like symptoms, constantly muttering to themselves. Their physical movements become slower and less coordinated. When addressed, they will stop muttering and start speaking semi-coherently to the person who addressed them. The severity of the mental condition is determined by how close they were to SCP-XXXX and by how long they were exposed for. This also determines how long a person is affected. A subject exposed to SCP-XXXX usually has to be kept in a cell for two to four years.
SCP-XXXX was found in an abandoned apartment building that was due for deconstruction. Foundation personnel intervened when reports of people going crazy were filed.
Addendum: All interviews of people exposed to SCP-XXXX were recorded and analyzed.
