Seeking Greenlights: Yes
Page Type: SCP Article
Elevator Pitch: A humanoid SCP that is given birth to by a randomly picked woman in labour across the world, however the SCP will only live for 24 hours and when it dies another woman gives birth to it. It varies gender between times.
Central Narrative: A woman is in a hospital, going through labour, and finally gives birth to her child. She's happy, but something feels off, the child doesn't scream and both her and the doctors are shocked and panicked, until the baby speaks to them and wiggles itself free. When on the ground, it introduces itself to them before being taken to a special room in the hospital. The child doesn't understand them and tries to leave the room before being studied by doctors, amongst them an undercover Field Agent from the Foundation. It soon explains itself to the team and it's able to escape from the hospital. After that it seeks new places to go, observe, study and learn. This SCP was then reported to the Foundation and later was observed and studied a few times by the Staff.
Hook/Attention-Grabber: The most interesting thing about this anomaly is that the SCP can remember past life experiences, it can grow very intelligent and wise over years and aqquire knowledge for many things, even as a newborn, and it's believed that it's main purpose is to learn. The only limits it has is it's very short life and it's physical form when both very young and very old. The SCP is also never born with any defficiency. What's also interesting about this SCP is that currently it poses no threats to humans, however, as it grows more intelligent there is a possibility of it attempting to end humans.
Additional Notes: Some of the SCP's origin was discovered in a few interviews the Foundation had with it, it was discovered who it's first birth mother was and when it was created. The SCP also explains it's theory in how and why this anomaly was made and how it is yet to discover how to stop it. The anomaly is normally calm during interviews and shows no interest in harm of any life form, however it is triggered when reminded it has a short life cycle.
