SCP-5897 The Elevator

SCP-5897

The Elevator
Type: Safe Euclid

Description: The elevator has the appearance of an average 18 foot by 18 foot elevator with an up and a down button on the outside .
it's a light brown with a oak wood accent at the bottom. On the inside there is a florescent light and a touch screen where the buttons should normally be. On the touch screen there appears to be randomly generated locations and a return button.
It seems to generate not only real world locations you could go to but also alternate universes and dimensions.
It seems that this elevator is a two way street and other people from other universes can come here as well so precautions must be taken.

Containment procedures: The Elevator must be monitored continuously with a security camera and have a armed guard present at all times. It's selection must be Browsed through at least once a day to prevent it from warping away. If used, all personnel are advised to hit the up button as to not fall from the sky when they warp.

Incident 001- The elevator disappeared right in front of our very eyes. sinking into the floor, when it returned days later it contained an unknown species which was assumed to be from another dimension. Guards flocked to the scene to contain the creature but in doing so killed it. The creature had [DATA EXPUNGED] and [DATA EXPUNGED] with 8 sharp [DATA EXPUNGED] causing 18 deaths before its own and has been labeled as a dangerous threat nad named SCP-5897a and we expect more to come which introduced extra containment procedures and the upgrade to euclid.

Experiment 0019-
A D-class personnel was put in SCP-5897 and the option labeled as dimension-0000018 was chosen from a selection of options and he rose to the location. The description he provided as well as photographic gives images to a grim reflection of our current world with "Death mold everywhere." To quote the D-class. The D-class came back with photos,an undiscoverable disease, and PTSD. The option hasn't came back and nobody has hopes that it will due to the extensive number of possible options.

End of Report.
