Special Containment Procedures:[Scp-xxxx is to be held in a 5m by 5m by 4m object containment chamber in integrated containment site 54. The object itself is to be put on a small cube of glass. The inside off the containment chamber is to be monitored at all times by cctv equipment. If anything happens to the object or the chamber, a site lockdown is to be initiated and a team of researchers of level five clearance is to be called to the containment chamber immediately. Also the chamber is to be monitored for radiation due to the fact that we don't know how SCP-xxxx works.

Description: SCP-xxxx is a metallic cube of 30cm by 30cm by 30cm. It's edges are covered in gold and proved to be the only part of the cube that is effectively solid. the rest of the cube is made of a metal with coloration and general appearance of obsidian. These parts are able of shapeshifting and spontaneous change of aggregate state. This is it's default state. This state also doesn't show any anomalous properties. It was found by a team of archaeologists while digging for roman artefacts in 2004 in the region of Bregenz / Vorarlberg (Austria). A few days later the truck, that was supposed to bring the artefact to a laboratory in Vienna, had a fatal accident all other artefacts were destroyed and every member of the crew was killed. The cube itself didn't even show a scratch. This brought the object into the attention of the foundation. It was recovered and contained in 20██ on the ██ of October. To yet the only way of preventing anomalous activities is to Cold it on a Box of Glass

It's anomalous properties start to show in one of his five active states(see addendum xxxx-1 to 5).
While these active phases it starts to affect people around it, buildings and even SCP's.
It can create events and even move other objects.
All of these anomalous phases have one thing in common, their effects seem to have the only use of creating the most chaos and mayhem possible.
All of these active states have been record while in foundation possession.
Last active state was recorded on the ██ ██ march in ████.
To yet no way to prevent these events from happening, or to disturb the cube while it's loading state. All personnel sent into the containment chamber while an active state immediately fainted as soon as they got into a radius of three meters within the cube.

The following addendums all describe one of the active states.

Addendum-xxxx-1
First recorded occurrence:██ of ████ 20██
At 10:33 the researcher Dr.█████ was observing Scp xxxx to ██████████████
Suddenly the sides of xxxx started melting and bubbles of liquid obsidian started hovering around SCP xxxx. This went on for half an hour then the bubbles started glowing in a extremely bright white this took 10 minutes. Then in a matter of seconds all went back to normal.
While these ten minutes there were several malfunctions of cctv equipment.
This active state was recorded multiple more times. All phases were followed by malfunctions of cctv equipment.
This state is now officially called a code: Loss of control.

Addendum-xxxx-2
First recorded occurrence:██ of █████ 20██
At 21:33 the cctv equipment recorded the cube starting to hover and tilt into and sideward position.
Two level five researchers Drs.██████ and ███ and a class-D subject D-1456 were called to the containment chamber. D-1456 entered the containment chamber and immediately fainted. Then the cube started to spin in a high velocity. After 2 minutes it stopped. When the researchers entered the containment chamber to retrieve the class D, they realised that D-1456 had no pulse and multiple strange black veins all over his body. Multiple personnel and d-classes were found exhibiting the same symptoms they all broke down with immediate heart failure and these veins causing extreme chaos and panic all over the site.
This state is now officially called code: Signs of panic.

Addendum-xxxx-3
First recorded occurance:5. of █████ 20██
At 1:33 the cctv equipment in xxxx containment chamber broke down researcher ██████ was at the containment chamber at that time, observing SCP xxxx sending bolts of red energy to the walls of his containment chamber. Dr. ██████ tried to call the site director for an active state protocol. But neither the messaging nor the emergency systems worked. Ten minutes later everything came back on. But in this time there was a sidewite blackout resulting in multiple containment breaches. And these resulting in multiple fatalities.
The chamber was separated from the electricity system after this incident, this actually prevented another situation like this.
This state is now officially called code: Red bolt blackout.

Addendum-xxxx-4
First recorded occurance:11. of March 2011
At █████ the cctv equipment and Dr.C████████████████ the obsidian metal once again liquefied and this time built spherical rings around SCP xxxx. SCP xxxx itself started to hover. After a charging phase of 20 minutes the spherical rings started to glow and shake in an extreme velocity. Then it stopped. We're not sure but we think this activity is related to the catastrophe of fukushima.
This phase is today definitely set as "related to the catastrophe of fukushima. And also other natural disasters.
After the first occurrence of this state connections to scp SCP-3456 are under investigation.
This state is now officially called code: mother nature's payback.

Addendum-xxxx-5
First recorded occurrence ██.█.2007.
Dr.Reaper was observing scp-xxxx after several phases of intense glowing and bubbles of melting obsidian like metal all over the containment chamber. Suddenly the box melted over the box that it was contained in to yet we don't know what really happened that day but there were several incidents with SCP's all over the world and we think the box hast got something to do with it. It reappeared 20 hours later. After this accident the pedestal was switched for one made of glass there were no more active phases since then. It is suspected that scp-xxxx needs solid matter to affect and glass doesn't seem to fit these needs.
