Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5047 is to be kept in a square of blast protection glass on a 2ft by 4ft table in a room made of only plastic. The glass container includes a coin slot at the top and is to be fed 10 dimes through on a daily basis.

Personnel interacting with SCP-5047 is to be level 3 or higher. At no point should the glass be removed from over The Golden Hand, any attempt to do so shall have the personnel removed from the site.

Description: SCP-5047 appears to be a human hand forged of pure gold. The exact size of an average 10-year-old child. SCP-5047 seems to leak a bronze acid from each fingertip, if left for 2 minutes it will burn through most materials, this includes, Iron, plastic, glass, etc. However somehow it cannot burn through plastic, or blast protection glass

If SCP-5047's glass container is removed, it will proceed to crawl around on all 5 fingertips, leaving a trail of acid wherever the fingertips land.

Recovery: SCP-5047 was found in a burnt down hut, believed to be destroyed by its own acid. The surrounding area was also burnt with traces of the acid on trees and mud. Nothing else is known of its origin.
