SCP-4755 is my dude’s hopeful designation.
PRE-READING META NOTE - I have my eye on slot 4755. I'd really love to get this into print.
So I have been informed of the possibility that SCP-4755 could be weaponised by just about anyone on the site, which is fair. I’m probably going to nerf him, maybe decrease the control it has over its abilities, give it unpredictable accidental discharges, etc.
So, I'm initiating Protocol 4755.
You have to ask me personally if you want to use it in a story or any of that stuff. I'll most likely say yes, but I won't if it winds up with it getting terminated.

Containment Protocols
SCP-4755 is to be kept in a comfortably-sized room with one chair, one bed, and a bookshelf that is to be kept full of novels and other reading material. a specialized containment cell constructed of highly conductive materials connected to a heat sink, and reinforced concrete walls containing pressure sensors. The door is to be a normal steel reinforced tungsten-lead alloy door that is lockable from the inside remotely and from a button on the outside. The door requires a Level 3 or above keycard to unlock.
SCP-4755 may use the Site-██ canteen during opening hours and is allowed 2 hours of exercise each day in the main courtyard or Site gymnasium. SCP-4755 must be supervised at all times via video surveillance and is not allowed out of its chamber. If SCP-4755 attempts another containment breach, the room must be flooded with liquid nitrogen up to 130cm depth to prevent it from using its abilities.
Description
SCP-4755 is a Caucasian British male around 173cm in height, appearing to be between the ages of 16 and 20. When exposed to an energy source, SCP-4755 is capable of syphoning power from this source, with an effective range of 17m 32m. Physical contact with the source is not necessary but increases the rate dramatically. SCP-4755 is capable of discharging the energy via electrical current in the form of high-voltage arc lightning (Highest power measured: 27.9 GW), kinetic output, emission of plasma-based projectiles or as excess heat, with a range of up to 2778 degrees Celsius (over 5000 degrees Fahrenheit). It is theorised that SCP-4755 has been purposely training himself to have greater control over his abilities.
SCP-4755 suffers from perpetual tiredness if it has less than ██MJ of Adaptable Potential energy stored, and insomnia if it has in excess of ██GJ (Gigajoules). Low temperatures can force a transfer of SCP-4755's AP energy reserves.
SCP-4755 WILL ABSORB ENERGY FROM ITS ENVIRONMENT. STAY MORE THAN 32M AWAY FROM SCP-4755 AT ALL TIMES. EXPOSURE TO SCP-4755 WHILST ABSORBING CAN RESULT IN HYPOTHERMIA, DROWSINESS, TEMPORARY PARALYSIS, AND DEATH FROM HALTED METABOLISM.
SCP-4755 appears to have an electromagnetic and physical field that starts 1mm away from the surface of its skin. It serves to convert impact-based energy into the Adaptable Potential energy that it uses as storage. Testing has shown it to be almost impervious to anomalous or energy-based attacks, and highly resistant to impact. it can extend and strengthen this field, at the cost of all movement. The field gives immunity to reality-bending effects by virtue of reality requiring energy input to bend, which the field negates.
SCP-4755 has currently breached containment successfully 5 6 times.

Containment Protocols
I am SCP-4755.
I have breached containment and am typing this from a barricaded resource room, with a bunch of security people trying to blast their way in.
Please, let me be free. I'm lonely. I miss my friends, my life.
I need to see the sun again.
Please.
SYSTEM MESSAGE- This description does not conform to standard containment procedure guidelines or formats. Please consider revising this section.
DW: Do you know how your anomalous abilities came to be, 4755?
SCP-4755: Yes, I think. I grew up attending a nice school, and made friends wi-
DW: Please refrain from telling us your life story. We want to know how you got your abilities.
SCP-4755: I wouldn’t be telling you unless it was necessary. As I was saying, I made friends with an Upper Sixth-Former called Theodore Wilkinson who was so smart he made me look almost dumb. I was top of my class in almost everything, but Theo was another level. I was in the Lower Sixth at the time, but we looked through a bunch of academic papers and talked to all sorts of crazy quantum-physics boffins to learn as much as we could about science.
Eventually, Theo stumbled across something odd. We’d been looking through some of the more cutting-edge papers and noticed a few things lining up. I’ll forbear to burden you with the details, but we found a way (using electromagnets and a VERY basic energy projection field) of localising a small – we’re talking micrometres here - a pocket of hyperdense space in which nuclear fusion can occur safely.
Of course, like the dumbasses we were, we decided to build it for the Science Expo up at the University. We set up Theo’s shed – it was a very big shed - as a miniature lab, borrowed some university materials, Theo's dad was RICH. I mean they had a cinema in their damn house, a yacht, and don't even get me STARTED on-
DW: Can we keep to the topic, please?
SCP-4755: Fine, fine. Anyway we set up the apparatus including the electromagnets that I made, Theo ran the calculations through my computer, and we set it off.
It worked. Perfectly.
It generated the exact amount of heat we calculated, inside a supercompressed area behind the glass screens we had set up. Gravitational force towards the area was at 0.11g, and a small amount of nuclear fusion was occurring in a space around 2.5 micrometres across, according to the calculations we had made.
DW: That still doesn’t explain-
SCP-4755: The second time we activated it, one of the electromagnets had a faulty connection. I moved in to fix it, and that’s when it happened.
DW: What happened?
SCP-4755: The electromagnet that I was dealing with stopped. The field spread apart and underwent a wildcat deterioration, before the electromagnet that I was next to suffered a power surge. The explosion afterwards killed Theo and coated me with this… stuff. Then everything just happened so fast…
SCP-4755 at this point burst into tears.
DW: You’re safe here, SCP-4755. When you're ready, continue with your account.
SCP-4755: I saw it… just blast him into ash… (SCP-4755 regains himself.) Do you know the temperatures that nuclear fusion can generate?
DW: No, I've never studied it. I'm a biological anthropologist, you see.
SCP-4755: Well, in the Sun it can create temperatures of over 15 million degrees Celsius. Thank God we only had a few molecules of it going on, but the deterioration caused a huge explosion that… that… that killed him.
DW: I'm sorry.
SCP-4755 began to stare into the middle distance. (WILL REVISE THIS SENTENCE - NOT CLINICAL)
SCP-4755: I saw him. He l-looked at me, and he opened his m-mouth and the explosion just- just burned all the flesh off its bones and destroyed our lab and I'm only alive because something happened with the fusion-
DW: What happened?
It made a bunch of heavy metals via "sequential supersession," - I looked it up a month or two afterwards - which is where fusion continues in a rapid state until it can produce superheavy elements like Oganesson, Tenessine, and Livermorium.
I got almost coated in this black metal that just clung to my skin like nothing else, but it saved me from being burned all over. It’s why I only have a small amount of scarring. After the police came and the fire brigade stopped the fire in the shed, they took me into hospital for burns treatment. I didn't get out for weeks as they gave me skin grafts and surgically removed this metal from me. It had fused with my skin in some places.
After it all happened, I noticed that I was always warm. I never felt cold at all. At first, I thought my nerves had been damaged in the fire but when I measured my mouth temperature a month later, it was at 50°C. I was causing power surges in nearby electrical equipment. I shook someone's hand, giving them a burn, and was hauled up to the Principal for playing a "childish prank" (SCP-4755 at this point grew visibly distressed.) Then when I told T-Tara about it she g-got scared and said she w-would call the police and g-get it sorted out and I got angry and the c-c-carpet caught fire, then the whole house a-and she… she…
4755 burst into tears again.
DW: We know what happened. The Foundation received word after the fire and came to get you. Thank you, 4755.

Containment Protocols
SCP-4755 is to be kept in a comfortably-sized room with one chair, one bed, a bedside table, and a bookshelf that is to be kept full of novels and other reading material. The door is to be a normal steel door that is lockable from the inside and outside. On weekends SCP-4755 is allowed to visit the town of ███████, █████, provided a tracking device is worn and a plainclothes chaperone accompanies it at all times. Following extensive self-training, 4755 seems to have greater control over his anomalous abilities.
Considering SCP-4755's unpredictable past behaviour, deciding whether this "self-training" constitutes a threat or not is subject to 05 debate.
05-█
Between the hours of 0800 and 2200, SCP-4755 shall be allowed full access to Site-██ including the canteen, recreation space and all amenities.
SCP-4755 suffers from perpetual tiredness if it has less than ██J of Adaptable Potential energy stored, and insomnia if it has in excess of ██MJ.
See Testing Log 4755.
SCP-4755 is physically extremely effective against almost any adversary. SCP-4755 is recommended for deployment against Keter-class physical threats. SCP-4755 is not recommended for use against non-corporeal entities, as it will be only as effective as a regular operative. SCP-4755 has completed Basic Operative Training and Empathy Suppression Training as of ██/██/2018.
Test 1
SCP-4755 was asked to approach a block of tungsten heated to 3000°C whilst "absorbing." SCP-4755 SCP-4755 proceeded to cool the block to -140.7°C. Internal readings showed an Adaptable Potential energy increase of ███mJ.
Test 2a
SCP-4755 was given a 50kg bar and told to lift it above its head. When it put the bar down, a further 50kg was added and the test was repeated. This process continued until there was 500kg on the bar, which SCP-4755 successfully lifted.
Further testing is required.
Test 2b
SCP-4755 was given a reinforced tungsten-steel alloy bar with 100kg masses either side of it. SCP-4755 had its internal AP energy content measured at ███GJ. Subject succeeded in lifting 2.98 tons. Later measurement of AP energy showed an ██MJ decrease.
Test 3
SCP-4755 was submitted to a full medical check and found to suffer from severe nerve damage along the lower arms due to repeated use of electrical current discharge. Its bone structure was found to contain large deposits of an anomalously heavy metal, and all have the comparable tensile strength to steel rebar.
Test 4
Energy field testing. Complete later.
Combat Efficiency and Limitations Test
Following Basic and Advanced Combat Training, SCP-4755 was set to complete the SCP Security and Combat Operative Assault Course before engaging multiple AI-controlled defence systems and a squad of security operatives armed with rubber-ammunition firearms. SCP-4755 was successful in incapacitating the security teams and destroying the systems in 344 seconds.
Personnel D-10134 and D-14159 were told to set up apparatus in SCP-4755's holding area in SCP-4755's room to measure light, sound, and heat energy levels in the room's atmosphere (The purpose of the apparatus was to detect any absorbance of energy) despite protest from SCP-4755. Whilst doing so, D-14159 became irritated with SCP-4755 watching him, and was verbally aggressive towards him. SCP-4755 became enraged and began insulting D-14159, and D-14159 responded to this by throwing a book at SCP-4755's head, missing and hitting the wall. SCP-4755 proceeded to punch D-14159 with an estimated 250N of force, before evading security operatives sent to diffuse the situation and fleeing.
We really need to get this guy some anger management courses.
15 minutes later, it was reported that SCP-4755 had broken through the wall of the facility and was running at full speed (around 58 mph, diverting AP energy for locomotion) towards ███████, █████, in the next district. it succeeded in evading and incapacitating security forces and retreated into a suburban district, where it managed to escape detection for several hours. It was found in the house of one Rosie █████, who was apparently a school friend of his and had believed him to be dead. Class B amnestics were administered on recapture. (INCOMPLETE)
SCP-3456 manifestation in █████████, █████.
SCP-4755's first Keter combat operation. SCP-4755 was deployed alongside MTF Chi-4 ("Cavalry's Here"), disguised as members of UN Armed Forces to the site of a collapsed building (Caused by the accidental action of SCP-████) in downtown █████████. SCP-4755 was initially deployed to lift rubble and keep survivors warm until medical attention could be administered.
At 17:49, one of the operatives in the group spotted an SCP-3456 manifestation standing some distance away. The 3456 instance proceeded to attack the group. SCP-4755 intervened, allowing Chi-4 to evacuate casualties and engage the 3456. The MTF had not been briefed on SCP-3456 instances and attempted to neutralise it with rifle fire, which proved ineffective. █ casualties occurred before SCP-4755 became enraged and attacked the SCP-3456 manifestation, firing plasma at it. The 3456 instance appeared to be in extreme pain, having suffered heavy burns at all points of impact. SCP-4755 closed with the 3456 instance and delivered a punch to the central chest that propelled it into a nearby wall. At this point, Chi-4's Team Leader ordered SCP-4755 to pull back and cease its attack, but this order was ignored. SCP-4755 proceeded to exert approximately 10,000 Newtons of force directly onto the 3456 instance's spine, by means of a charged punch. The SCP-3456 instance was assumed terminated.
SCP-106 (Non-termination)
During a containment breach, SCP-106 had killed █ personnel before SCP-4755 was deployed to stop the threat. 106 attempted to drag SCP-4755 into its "pocket dimension", but failed due to SCP-4755's protective field. SCP-4755 engaged SCP-106 by shocking it with █ seconds of arc current before punching it multiple times. SCP-106 responded by throwing its corrosive secretion at SCP-4755, causing light burns on its chest and left arm. (It is theorised that SCP-4755's protective field partially neutralised the liquid.) SCP-4755 then became enraged, picked 106 up by the chest and slammed it into the floor and then the wall, presumably causing multiple breakages. SCP-106 was barely able to escape by moving through the wall and was easily re-contained due to the injuries it had sustained.
Afterwards, SCP-4755 expressed a desire to "tear that old [EXPLETIVE]'s spine out"
SCP-682
SCP-4755 was placed inside SCP-682's chamber. The fight itself lasted 3 hours. SCP-682 appeared to evolve a hardened shell that provided increased resistance to heat, physical impact, and insulation against electrical current. SCP-4755 used every kind of attack it could muster, with high intensity. The fight ended with SCP-682 suffering multiple breakages, lacerations, and a limb torn off, whilst SCP-4755 was concussed, with a broken leg and severe bruising. Both were too exhausted to move, and SCP-4755 had to be carried out on a stretcher. Termination failed.
SCP-2396-B instances
A large number of SCP-2396-B converged on Site-19, attempting to breach SCP-2936's containment. SCP-4755 was hastily deployed due to the absence of CTF Lambda-6 ("Girly Girls") and the inability of other CTFs to deal with the numbers of instances present.
SCP-4755 arrived after 23 seconds and instantly engaged the instances, using incineration as the chief method of termination. The SCP-2396-B instances were eradicated within 15 minutes. SCP-4755 then broke off the door from SCP-2396's containment chamber, and believing that she intentionally caused the 2396 instances to attack him, threatened to hit her with it. SCP-2396 appeared to be angered by this and invited it to do so, telling it that she "didn't appreciate rude boys coming in and threatenin' her like that", and that she'd "teach it a lesson", not knowing how far its anomalous abilities extended.
SCP-4755 then proceeded to hit her with the door, causing concussion. SCP-4755 was later reprimanded and ordered to apologise to SCP-2396, which it did with good grace, though reluctantly.
Action during an SCP-076-2 containment breach
During a breakout of SCP-076-2 on ██/██/20██, the Final Contingency Measures failed due to sabotage by an embedded Chaos Insurgency agent. 076-2 was able to escape and begin ascension of the elevator shaft before SCP-4755 was rapidly deployed to halt him. SCP-4755 arrived as 076-2 breached the blast door at the top of the shaft and was successful in knocking it back down. Remaining details of the fight are impossible to ascertain due to them occurring inside the elevator shaft, however a seismic tremor measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale occurred around 21 minutes later, and SCP-076-1 was seen to shut and lock again shortly after.
SCP-4755 was brought back up to the surface with its right arm severely burned and both radius and ulna broken, among other lacerations and injuries. When asked how the breakage happened SCP-4755 informed staff that it had punched 076-2 “too hard” and that the impact was almost enough to tear its arm apart.
SCP-076-2 was later noted to have “enjoyed” the experience and requested a rematch.
An Old Friend Visits.
Rosie James sat in her kitchen with a cup of tea. She took a sip and closed her eyes. Later on, she was going to visit Jack with his broken leg. She stood, and walked into the lounge to watch a little TV before it. As she grabbed the remote, she heard a frantic knocking on the front door.
Rosie got up and cautiously opened the door.
Cam was standing there. Bedraggled and dusty, but unmistakably him.
Cam. Her best friend, who died six months ago in a massive car accident.
He spoke.
"Can I come in, Ro?"
Rosie stared in shock.
"C-Cam… You- You're dead!"
"Ro! Now is really not the time! I need to come in, you're the only one around here who knows me and I can't stay outside."
Rosie just stared. Cam simply pushed past her and shut the door behind him. He advanced a few steps, before turning around.
The barrel of a gun greeted him, with Rosie's glaring, set face behind it.
"I don't know who you are, or why you're here, or why you look so like him, but you need to get out. Now."
Cam raised his hands and leaned away from her. The muzzle, dark and imposing, flicked towards the door.
"I said get out."
"Rosie, I can prove it's me. Ask me a question, one only Cam could answer."
Rosie thought for a second before responding.
"What's your favourite Pokémon, then?"
Cam grinned. This was easy.
"Darkrai, followed by Lucario, Garchomp, Haxorus, Serperior and Infernape. Remember, I beat you so many times back in Gen 5 with my Haxorus-Serperior duo?"
Rosie frowned and lowered the gun slightly.
"Yes, as a matter of fact, I do."
Cam laughed. "Leaf Storm and Dragon Claw, baby! Breezed past your team, every time!"
Rosie's eyes widened, she threw the revolver onto the carpet and practically flew over to him, wrapping her arms tightly around his chest.
"We missed you so much - We thought you were dead… First Tara in that fire, then you…
Cam felt a pang of desolation stab through him.
"Yeah, that hit us all pretty hard." His voice choked up as he briefly recalled the hell his life had been, knowing the fire had been his fault yet having to keep it from everyone. Rosie squeezed him and let him cry for a second before drying his tears and sitting him down.
"We know you loved her, Cam."
She tenderly hugged him again before standing up.
"You look like you could use some coffee, and I want to know what's going on."
Cam sighed and leaned back in his seat as Rosie made coffee. She came and sat back down.
"So, what's going on? You disappear for six months, come charging in here looking like you haven't slept in days, and are acting shifty as anything."
Cam scratched his head and spoke again.
"I'm on the run from the Foundation."
He looked at her, and seeing the bewilderment on her face, he explained.
"They're a…"
He decided to lie a little to make it sound plausible. She didn't need to know everything.
"They're a government-funded organisation that captures and imprisons anything scary and weird. Things like monsters, bogeymen, stones that let you go through mirrors, space-time anomalies, art that kills you if you look at it, and me."
Rosie stared in utter stupefaction.
"I don't believe it. There's no way that's true. I-I think you're ill, you look awful. You should-"
Cam simply got up and started to glow slightly, a strange aura surrounding him. Rosie winced as the hairs on.
"Cam, what the hell is tha-"
Using only one hand, he lifted her and the seat she was on above his head. He spoke again, and this time it was a wavering rasp of self-loathing.
"Do you believe me now?"
TO BE CONTINUED
When he put her down, Rosie had turned paper-white. Cam turned to her, his face set like granite.
"I'm deadly serious. I'm seen as a real danger by these people, and they're near."
He strolled over to the window and peeked through the crack in the curtains.
"They're not here yet. I can only pray that I lost that chopper before it saw me come in here."
Rosie stood up, pale and shaken.
"I've helped you with problems before, but I don't know if I can this time. This is way beyond anything I've ever even heard of! How did you even get out?"
Cam turned to her, looking at his fist.
"Punched through a wall, then ran and ran. I recognised this area and found your house.
