Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4808 is to be kept in a 5m x 5m x 5m concrete cell at all times unless general maintenance is being performed on its cell. SCP-4808s Cell should have no cameras and two guards standing outside issued with SCRAMBLE devices. No liquid or substance capable of being smeared is allowed within 20 feet of SCP-4808s cell. Personnel not equipped with a SCRAMBLE device is allowed within 20 feet of its cell. Every week SCP-4808 should be moved to an adjacent cell while three janitorial staff equipped with SCRAMBLE devices clean [COGNITOHAZARD EXPUNGED] within the containment cell. In the case of a containment breach all personnel in charge of recontainment should be issued SCRAMBLE devices. Any experimentation with SCP-4808 must be approved by two L-3 personnel, one of which must be present during the experiment.

Description: SCP-4808 is a humanoid sentient being that appears to be clothed in a cloak and traditional chinese rice hat. It was first found during Exploration 1730-6, an exploration in which a manned drone entered SCP-1730. SCP-4808 is capable of drawing cognitohazards that, when viewed, kills the viewer in approximately 30 minutes. SCP-4808 was thought to have been neutralized during the events following the events of Recovery-SCP-1730-1.

Death via cognitohazards produced from SCP-4808 have resulted in total cell death in those affected. Tests using D-Class have shown that, when copied, all cognitohazards have no anomalous properties and are safe for viewing. Origins of these symbols are unknown.

Addendum-1: On [REDACTED] SCP-4808 was rediscovered following reports of a group of teenagers going missing in a cave near the location in which SCP-1730 was neutralized.

Addendum-2: It should be noted that after [DATA EXPUNGED] of containment SCP-4808 began to produce a thick sludge composed of a mixture of blood and feces. It is currently unknown if this is a natural ability of SCP-4808 or if is an adaption it has made over time.
