Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a double padlocked steel box inside a standard object locker. Direct physical contact with SCP-XXXX is forbidden outside of approved tests. Use of SCP-XXXX outside of tests by Level 3 or above researchers is forbidden.

Description: The object appears to be a standard copy of Liber AL vel Legis, known as The Book of the Law to Thelemites. Inside it appears to contain the full text of Liber AL vel Legis, with no textual anomalies or additional text. However, when touched, the object will cause any entity capable of sentience and free will to identify themselves as a Thelemite, and attempt further contact with the object, as well as non-anomalous writings by the same author. This can occur over a time period spanning from 48 hours to several months. This occurrence has been observed as late as two years after contact. If the subject actually reads SCP-XXXX, the length of time before effects begin has been observed to reduce.

Addendum 001: Discovery Report: The following is a report detailing the discovery of SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX was first discovered in the basement of one Mrs. A█████ T███████. City police were dispatched to the home after a series of complaints from neighbors led to a formal investigation. The investigation team included undercover Field Agent ██████, who was handed a shoebox by a girl approximately █ years of age, who said "This caused all our problems. Take it away from my mommy, please!" The box was taken to the precinct house, where several officers quickly succumbed to the effects of SCP-XXXX. At this point, Field Agent ██████ proceeded to call for backup. Two Containment Specialists were dispatched to █████████ Precinct House #█ where SCP-XXXX was easily contained within a standard steel box and transported to Storage Facility 2██. However, both specialists were quarantined after developing symptoms two weeks after handling SCP-XXXX despite being equipped with standard latex gloves.
