Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is secured inside a standard containment room at Site-██. The door to SCP-XXXX's room is to be monitored by video surveillance, and guarded at all times by no less than two armed personnel. SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a bookcase containing a minimum of four shelves and adjacent to two identical bookcases. The shelves of each bookcase will be stocked with non-anomalous, identical replicas of SCP-XXXX. Writing utensils of all varieties are strictly forbidden from the vicinity of SCP-XXXX. Any attempt to smuggle or craft a writing utensil within 10 meters of SCP-XXXX is grounds for immediate termination. Failure to comply with aforementioned procedures will result in a CK-class restructuring scenario. In the event that SCP-XXXX must be relocated, SCP-XXXX must not, under any circumstances, be secured at (or within range of) any site equipped with a nuclear countermeasure. Damage to SCP-XXXX must be prevented by every possible means. Destruction of SCP-XXXX may result in a ZK-class reality failure scenario (See Addendum XXXX-3). The whereabouts of Dr. Boller, former lead researcher assigned to SCP-XXXX, are currently unknown. Any information regarding the location of or any contact made with Dr. Boller must be reported immediately. These Special Containment Procedures have been enacted and supersede all previous Special Containment Procedures following Incident-XXXX-1 and Incident-XXXX-2.

Addendum XXXX-1: The original special containment procedures were updated following incident XXXX-1. They remain within this document for historical purposes.

Original Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is secured inside a standard containment room at Site-XX. The door to SCP-XXXX's room is to be monitored by video surveillance, and guarded at all times by no less than two armed personnel. SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a secured lock box when not being used for testing. Writing utensils of all varieties are restricted within 5 meters of SCP-XXXX without direct approval from the site director or senior researcher.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a leather-bound tome containing approximately fifty blank pages. The binding of SCP-XXXX is severely worn. Many of the pages contained within SCP-XXXX are loose and may fall free of the binding if not handled with care. Anything written upon the pages of SCP-XXXX will disappear after 2.5 seconds. If a question pertaining to events that have already taken place is written upon any page of SCP-XXXX, an answer will appear in the place of the question. To date every response provided by SCP-XXXX has been clear, concise, and accurate. All statements, questions concerning future events, or beginning with the word 'why' will not generate a response from SCP-XXXX.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was extracted from [DATA EXPUNGED] on ██/██/19██. The words ███████████ were written upon the first page of SCP-XXXX when it came into Foundation custody.

Addendum XXXX-2: Experimentation with SCP-XXXX was conducted at site-██. All testing was carried out or overseen by Senior Researcher Dr. Boller.

Experiment Log-XXXX Level 4/XXXX Clearance Required

Test XXXX-1

Subject: D-XXXX

Procedure: D-XXXX Write the question: 'What year was the Declairation of Independence signed?' within SCP-XXXX

Results: The question above disappeared from the page. The sentence: 'The Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776.' appeared in place of the original question.

Analysis: SCP-XXXX consistently answers questions presented to it by restating the question first. It would also appear that SCP-XXXX is still capable of responding accurately to a question with spelling errors. Whether this comes from some higher level of word comprehension or a latent knowledge of the writer's intent is unknown.

Addendum XXXX-3: Due to the considerable security risk associated with the anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX and its potential to compromise Foundation security, D-class personnel will no longer be utilized in the testing of SCP-XXXX. Further experimentation will be conducted by personnel with a minimum level 4/XXXX clearance.

Test XXXX-5

Subject: Dr. Boller

Procedure: Write the question: 'Where is Jimmy Hoffa's corpse located?' within SCP-XXXX.

Results: The question above disappeared from the page. The sentence: 'Jimmy Hoffa's corpse is located at ██°N, ██°W.' appeared in place of the original question.

Analysis: Agents were dispatched to the coordinates provided by SCP-XXXX. The accuracy of SCP-XXXX's response was verified. Hoffa's corpse was left where it was found. The result of this test lends itself to one of my earlier assertions. SCP-XXXX can detect the latent intention of its writer. I could have meant anyone by the name of Jimmy Hoffa who has ever lived, yet it knew exactly who I meant. I estimate that the question could have been phrased 'Where is his body?' and it would have answered.

Synopsis: A total of 139 experiments were completed with findings consistent with the current understanding of SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects. Whether verified via common knowledge, simple fact-checking, or in-depth investigation, every claim made by SCP-XXXX has been accurate. Further investigation will be conducted to determine the limits of SCP-XXXX's properties.

Addendum XXXX-4: Further testing was done to determine the limitations of SCP-XXXX.

Incident-XXXX-1 Level 4/XXXX Clearance Required

Test XXXX-A

Subject: Dr. Boller

Procedure: Remove one page from SCP-XXXX, and write the question "Where is the closest outpost of the Chaos Insurgency?" on the loose sheet.

Result: See Incident Report XXXX-1-A. The question, written by Dr. Boller, remained upon the torn page. No other anomalous behavior was observed

Analysis: Motion to immediately halt all experimentation with SCP-XXXX. The capabilities of SCP-XXXX within the context of our universe entirely misunderstood. It is unclear as of yet to what extent today's experiment damaged our universe. It is clear, however, that further investigation to determine the causal relationship between SCP-XXXX and the events of today are just as likely to be detrimental as they are elucidating. It is simply a risk I will not tolerate.

Incident Report XXXX-1-A

On ██/██/20██, during test XXXX-A, upon removal of a single page from SCP-XXXX a global reality fracturing event took place. All personnel within the vicinity of SCP-XXXX, to include a majority of the personnel operating at site-██, experienced an intense feeling of nausea. Each reported varying symptoms all relating to objective memory failure. Severe migraines, nose bleeds, and vomiting were reported by site personnel.

05 Clearance Required

Addendum XXXX-5: A strong correlation has been established between testing conducted on SCP-XXXX and a number of concerning events occurring at site-██. Dr. Boller, senior researcher assigned to SCP-XXXX, was ordered by the 05 Council to investigate the issue and determine if there is any relationship between these anomalies. Dr. Boller was selected due to his extensive knowledge relating to SCP-XXXX and the inherent risk of introducing additional personnel to the capabilities of the SCP.
