Item #: SCP-4062
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Since SCP-4062 is passive, alone, in his original containment he is to be kept in a Victorian Era chateau in North America, ██████ and must be kept there at all times, any unauthorised personnel on Site-███ must be arrested and be questioned as soon as possible. Removal of SCP-4062 requires the approval of two Level-5 personnel who are extremely familiar with the subject.
Description: Subject seems to be a futuristic robot from the 22nd century. Subject is 6-foot tall and made up of titanium-tungsten compound; it is extremely durable to most forms of weapons and only melts under the temperatures of ███°C . Subject uses infra-red lenses to sense movement. This system is only active within the radius of 20 metres. Subject acts aggressively towards any adult on Site-███. However recent studies have revealed that it acts less so when with any persons under the age of 6. The subject's objective is unknown objective has been found, during Addendum-A, to act as a babysitter, explaining the reason it acts more passively with younger youths. SCP-4068 also has been found to create several SCPs by implanting artificial intelligence into soft toys. Such SCPs are SCP-4068-A, B and C. Further studies are to be made.
Discovery: SCP-4068 was discovered on ██/██/████, when an anonymous witness spotted a house just next to his which was never there before. He contacted the emergency services, but they ignored him regardless of the event. Dr. █████ took him to our interrogation rooms to find out more. Agent █ searched the house, but never returned. Agent ██ and ██ were successful on their round and gave Dr. █████ the evidence found. Evidence includes:
- [REDACTED].
- An aged Samsung Galaxy SXX
- A double-sided touch-screen tablet (note: Dr. Stevens is working on cracking the password)
- A HoverBored™
- A compact SolarSystem™ model
- A metal scrap from SCP-4068
- SCP-4068-A
- SCP-4068-B
- SCP-4068-C
SCP-4068-A: Subject is a teddy bear with enough intelligence to climb furniture and hold a mixture of small items.
Addendum-A: On ██/██/████, Agent ██, ███ and ██ entered Site-███ to report on more information towards SCP-4062. During the infiltration, Agent ██ died shortly after the subject [DATA EXPUNGED] the personnel and Agent ██ was able to escape from the subject in time. Fortunately, Agent ██ was able to recover a picture drawn by a child. The picture includes the word "Chiddler", which was probably the child's name for SCP-4068.
Item #: SCP-4106
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP–4106 is to be kept within a 3 x 3 x 3 steel and reinforced concrete-layered containment cell. The reinforced walls should be no less than 2 meters thick. The inside walls should be coated with galvanised anti-rust paint once a week and a mandatory inspection for any rust or corrosion on the cell walls is to take place on a daily basis. The only entry point to SCP-4106’s cell is through a steel blast door and an airlock.
Any researchers or test subjects entering the containment cell must wear Level A HAZMAT protective gear. Under no circumstances is SCP-4106 to be physically damaged in any way. No researchers or test subjects are to touch SCP-4106 under any circumstances.
In the instance of a manifestation of SCP-4106-1, an immediate containment breach is to be sounded and protocol Cleanse is to be initiated. All doors are to be sealed immediately and ██ nerve gas is to be pumped through the entire facility.
If SCP-4106-1 manages to escape containment, the O5 council is to be notified immediately, and the site’s director must trigger the containment facility’s on-site nuclear warhead immediately.
This will unfortunately result in the death of all on-site personnel, and the destruction of the immediate surrounding area, but is a necessary measure in order to avoid an XK-Class End of The World Event.
Description: SCP-4106 is a 2 x 2 x 2 cube composed of a silvery-grey material currently unknown to researchers. Its composition does not match any element in the current periodic table, nor does it match the composition of any other anomalous elements or SCPs. SCP-4106 is extremely brittle, and can break easily when exposed to high pressure, heat or other excessive physical force.
It was discovered in 19██ in an archaeological dig site in ██████, South Africa.
The anomalous properties of SCP-4106 occur when it is physically damaged enough to result in a part of it breaking off. This broken piece and its surrounding area on the main cube will then begin to generate millions of tiny insect-like entities roughly 1 centimetre long and 0.5 centimetres wide. This process takes between 10 and 30 seconds.
These entities are henceforth referred to as SCP-4106-1
Instances of SCP-4106-1 will consume any material they come into contact with, causing it to spontaneously corrode and disintegrate in a matter of seconds. SCP-4106-1 instances will work together efficiently in large groups and display extremely high levels of coordination.
Groups of SCP-4106-1 are impervious to most forms of damage due to their resistance to conventional weaponry such as bullets and small explosions. They will consume any bullets that hit the swarm and conventional explosions do not generate enough heat to cause any significant damage to a swarm of millions of SCP-4106-1 entities.
The only way to successfully destroy instances of SCP-4106-1 is to expose them to temperatures above ██0,000,000°C. These temperatures cause them to wither and melt in a fraction of a second. The only known way to artificially create these temperatures is by detonating a thermonuclear weapon in close vicinity to them.
