ITEM #: SCP-XXXX

OBJECT CLASS: KETER

SPECIAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURE: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a standard humanoid containment cell, lined with lead. This inner containment cell should be suspended from the center of a larger containment cell that is approximately 250 meters by 250 meters by 250 meters. Mandatory cleaning procedures are required every 6 months; all instances of SCP-XXXX-3 are to be destroyed immediately. D-class subjects are to only have 10 minutes of exposure to SCP-XXXX when executing cleaning procedures.

SCP-XXXX-2 is to be contained within a standard humanoid containment cell. SCP-5978-2 containment class is safe.

In the case of a breach, SCP-XXXX is to be sedated with amnestic and moved back to containment. D-class personnel are to be used for sedation of the entity. All other personnel are to keep a safe distance until the entity has been removed, and a cleaning crew is required to remove any toxins within the air. Personnel are to only have 5 minutes of exposure to SCP-XXXX at any given point and are required to see a Doctor for inspection afterward, with bi-monthly check-ups for approximately 2 months.

Containment Procedure Update: (see Addendum XXXX-2) As of 02/09/2019, per the Ethics Committee orders, all instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to either shot dead or injected with a lethal dosage. No exceptions.

Description: SCP-XXXX cannot be fully described due to its everchanging form. Approximately every 9 months, SCP-XXXX will shed all physical attributes, forming SCP-XXXX-3, and take on new physical attributes.

SCP-XXXX emits a potent toxin, capable of causing mild headaches, nausea and dizziness within minutes, and total body failure within approximately 20 minutes, creating an instance of SCP-XXXX-2. It has been observed that although SCP-XXXX-2 cannot move or feel anything, it still has functioning brain activity.

SCP-XXXX-2 is the collective term of subjects that have had 20 minutes or more of exposure to SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-3 is the collective term of entities

Addendum 5978-1: Discovery
SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-2, and SCP-XXXX-3 were first discovered in the town of ████, Australia on the 14/02/2015 when a portion of a town, approximately 128 persons, became instances of SCP-XXXX-2(1). All entities, including SCP-XXXX, were swiftly moved to site ██ and contained within a standard humanoid containment cell. Experiments were conducted during the following days on 3 of the contained SCP-XXXX-2.

Test XXXX-1 - 15/02/2015

Subject: SCP-XXXX-2 (1-29)
Procedure: An autopsy was conducted on SCP-XXXX-2 (1-29)
Results: Subject was immune to certain types of objects, including flame…
Analysis: Subject appears to be able to survive harsh environments. (Hint at ADDENDUM 3)

Addendum 5978-2: Incident 11/06/2017

All other subjects who were infected were taken into a lab for inspection but were cleared for duty approximately 7 days afterward.

<Begin log>
Dr. ██████: Hello SCP-XXXX-2 (2-1). I am Dr. ██████, and I am here to interview about the incident containing you and SCP-XXXX on the 11th of the 6th, 2017. It is believed you have full functioning brain activities. Can you hear me?
SCP-XXXX-2 (2-1) shows no movement or signs of life.
Dr. █████: Alright. I've had an idea. SCP-XXXX-2 (2-1), when I ask a question, I want you to answer with your eyeballs. If your answer is "yes", then I want you to move your eyes up and downwards. If "no", side to side. If "other", or you're not sure, I want you to roll your eyes. Do you understand?
SCP-XXXX-2 (2-1) moves its eyeballs up and down, signing "yes".
Dr. █████: Awesome! Alright, I've got a few more questions for you, then we can… Nevermind. Can you feel anything? Your legs or your arms?
