Description: SCP-XXXX is an adult Caucasian female of average height and otherwise unremarkable appearance. SCP-XXXX has the name of Lindie.

SCP-XXXX was recovered from a hospital in [REDACTED], where its anomalous property had led doctors to believe that it was suffering from an acute skin condition. An undercover agent notified the Foundation, who relocated SCP-XXXX to the nearest Foundation site.

SCP-XXXX has been relatively cooperative in tests and interviews with Foundation operatives, but is either unwilling or unable to reveal more than vague information about its origins.

SCP-XXXX possesses one anomalous property. When the skin of SCP-XXXX is seen by a human1, SCP-XXXX's skin begins to harden at a rate proportional to how close the viewer is to SCP-XXXX, spreading from the point being viewed to cover SCP-XXXX's entire body. This process shall be listed as "stoning." As SCP-XXXX's skin hardens, it takes on a grey color and becomes rigid and inflexible, having the appearance and texture of uneven stone. After a maximum of approximately 60 seconds of being viewed, SCP-XXXX's entire skin will have been affected completely.

As soon as SCP-XXXX's skin will begin to revert to its natural state. However, it does so at a very low speed, usually taking about 7 hours to completely return to normal after a complete "stoning."

The substance that SCP-XXXX's skin appears to transform into is currently unidentifiable. It is notable that only SCP-XXXX's skin transforms; the rest of SCP-XXXX is unchanged. Because of the rigidity of the substance, SCP-XXXX is basically paralyzed after a complete "stoning," but can still breathe normally.
