Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 13x13 room with decor, furniture, and play objects that are normally associated with any normal child of the age and sex of SCP-XXXX. In the event of SCP-XXXX breaching, personnel are directed to verbally instruct SCP-XXXX to return to their holding cell. If not done so, SCP-XXXX may be physically returned to their holding cell, where verbal punishment may be applied afterward.

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a human Caucasian child of the male sex and current age of approximately 5 years. SCP-XXXX does not seem externally, internally, genetically or behaviorally different from a normal child of his intermediate age. When a sapient and sentient, live subject of any species that measures at least 1 meters in height at minimum, comes into 1.8 meters of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX may approach the aforementioned subject, in the event of SCP-XXXX approaching a subject, SCP-XXXX may attempt to physically pull a strand of the subject’s DNA by physically reaching into the subject’s body, note that subject’s body is not physically damaged in SCP-XXXX’s retrieval of the strand of DNA, and the body does not react to the strand being removed. Once the strand of DNA is out of the subject’s body, the strand of DNA, including chromosomes, will magnify to the size of a non specific brand of link together toy. Once the DNA is in this form, SCP-XXXX can physically cause different types of Chromosomal ramifications, or mutations, such as Chromosomal deletions, and inversions depending on how SCP-XXXX rearranges the Chromosomes. Once SCP-XXXX is done rearranging the Chromosomes, SCP-XXXX will, in most cases, place the DNA strand back into the body of the subject. SCP-XXXX generally places the DNA back into a subject when instructed to do so by any testers in the room. Note that SCP-XXXX is the only found being to be able to physically hold and manipulate the DNA strand, as when Dr. Bea attempted to physically hold and manipulate the DNA that SCP-XXXX had retrieved, the DNA returned to it’s natural size and property, and could not be altered by Dr. Bea. SCP-XXXX has been used to try and reverse the effects of already existing Chromosomal mutations in subjects. There has only been 1 report of SCP-XXXX reversing the effects of a subject’s already existent Chromosomal mutation at this time; SCP-XXXX took a strand of DNA from a human subject, and rearranged the Chromosomes, and had thus rid them of a Chromosomal Inversion. From this event, and past failed attempts at getting SCP-XXXX to reverse Chromosomal Mutations at command, it has been hypothesized that SCP-XXXX does not know that it can cause or reverse Chromosomal Mutations in subjects, and only sees DNA strands as a play object, and the effects of SCP-XXXX’s arrangements of Chromosomes in a subject’s DNA are random.
In the event of SCP-XXXX attempting to or succeeding in the removal and altercation of a personnel's DNA strand when not authorized by the subject, or another tester in the room, SCP-XXXX is to be asked to stop, or place the DNA strand back into the subject if already taken out. Verbal punishment or temporary removal of a privilege may be applied as consequence.
