Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained in a room that is the approximate size of a jail cell except for the ceiling which is 8 meters high. The room is fitted with 1.5 meter thick floor consisting of three layers and a 1 meter thick wall consisting of 2 layers (each layer is 0.5 meters thick) of cast high-alloy steel which is resistant to acid. The reason for the multiple layers is for when SCP-XXXX eventually degrades the floor until the point of breakage and escapes containment. Another room which is identical to the containment room1 already established has been setup during maintenance when personal have to conduct repairs in the original room thus SCP-XXXX rotates between the rooms frequently.2
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 6 meter tall creature that resembles a humanoid. It's torso is incredibly small compared to it's legs and arms from a first glance you might not even see the torso. It's fingers are long and slender. The head of the creature is mostly spherical except for a protrusion at the back making it almost like the shape of an acorn. The creature does not require any food or water.3 The creature is comprised completely of a corrosive substance that changes regularly. The change can be seen by the creature because the color of the creature matches the strength of the acid or base to the PH scale.
The creature has become a topic of debate in the facility because some scientist's want to dissect it to find out what is creating all of the substances potentially killing it which would bring down the cost's of the facility's and other scientist's saying that they should keep it so they can farm it's substances and them for research and money. The substance it produces has given it the nickname of "The Alchemist"
The creature is gentle and like's to interact with various objects like a child. The creature seems to be able to change it's color and therefore it's acid by it's emotions. Despite having an opportunity to escape due to a member personnel who failed his task, SCP-XXXX did not escape. Dr. ██████ after the incident of [DATA EXPUNGED] attempted to teach SCP-XXXX American sign language (ASL) as SCP-XXXX has shown no sign of having and vocal abilities but has been shown to be able to learn.
The creature has learned how to make basic sentences such as "Hello Dr. ██████", "Thank you" and "Goodbye Dr. ██████".
